"Liking Corsica as I do it was pleased to find a Corsican restaurant, and it is a pretty good sample of the cuisine.Food was impressive, starting with an ample Corsican charcuterie platter, then to rolled baked pork stuffed with Corsican cheese, then a chestnut desert. Lovely - and very large portions! We drank an excellent Corsican red (the only time in the week I didn't drink Bordeaux wine) but they also had Corsican chestnut beer, which I might have had on a hotter day.The people were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and contributed to a relaxed and genial environment. Though we used French I heard English being used, so this would not be a problem. The restaurant was very busy and unless you arrive early I suggest you book, but it is very much worth it."

Went there for a special Yelp event. The event was based on essential oils and food.

My wife and have been here twice with friends and our experience is easy to summarize: excellent food, excellent wines, and excellent service by knowledgeable and helpful wait staff in a pleasant atmosphere--all at a fair price. What more could one want?

We spent a lovely time at the Cantina with great food and top service by the Cantina team. A family of four with two small children of which at least one had a bit a difficult evening we were taken care of in a brilliant way. Ah, before I forget, the food was lovely, too.

Magnificent. Everything. Food. Wine. Host. Ambience. We are fussy. Spoilt for choice at home. We had entree, main and dessert. All delicious. Great quality produce. So tasty. Well presented but not fussy. Everything on the plate was necessary and added to the dish. Flavours amazing. Ensure you book. This place is busy for a reason.

We tried to book with fork, but couldn't . After reading the reviews we wanted to give the restaurant a try as it was near our hotel . They were fully booked, but said we could eat at the bar. We were so glad that we took that opportunity. We both shared a starter of a zucchini fritters that were very good. For our dinners we both chose the lamb with vegetables and a delicious polenta. A wow from both of us.Very good at a reasonable price .Great service from a very friendly staff.

When our hotel suggested this restaurant, I hesitated. I prefer to eat and drink local food, and a Corsican restaurant in Bordeaux? But we trusted the recommendation and are so glad we did. The restaurant is beautiful (we ate upstairs and were able to see a bit of the kitchen action.) The service was particularly caring and knowledgeable -- I learned a lot about Corsican food and wines from the detailed answers our waiter gave to my questions. And the meal was delicious. We usually choose fish, and my husband's fish was quite good, but I tried the veau tigré, veal from a breed of Corsican cattle, and it was tender and delicious. And the Corsican wine we had was a revelation.
