"at a miserable, drizzling evening we looked for cambrai space for a dining room that looked appropriate for our old and intended budget. we came and talked to the girl at the bar in our poor French. she couldn't even bear a smile and simply called her fellow. we asked (in French) to eat, please. he reacted to English. we were shown to the back that seemed to be diners. my men laughing was bland and watery, my baked cheese was a firm block of oily cheese. it also hid a little ham. French pommes were good! bier was good too. price is expensive everywhere. Maybe we would have expected the cafe food, but we did not see the company name until we left! our total bill was euro. we only felt that the experience was illuminated by very ordinary restaurants and unfriendly welcome."

what a beautiful location, we visited this beautiful cafe after the parade for the pursuit to mons. it has a beautiful view of the square.

I took a group of friends to the café for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A good selection on the menu and all the food was very well served. All the food was very tasty and enjoyable. Would recommend it to everyone.

We had one evening meal here. As it was a warm evening we sat outside and watched the world go by. There is nothing special about the restaurant or the food but I enjoyed the meal and it was tasty and reasonably priced. The menu...is somewhat limited but the staff were friendly, spoke English and I would certainly recommend that you give it a go.
