"Most restaurants have to be reserved for breakfast if one goes on the weekend, and I 'm sure it is no different at Academie. But as it was a Wednesday morning it was not very busy and so we got a table without a problem. The...service was really quick (partly, I suppose, due to the fact that it wasn 't that full, but we were pleasantly surprised to have out breakfast spread after about 5 minutes wait. The coffee was also really quick. They have about 7 or 8 set breakfast spreads which are all great. The 'Rafaela ' is particularly good. I felt I had more things to put on bread than I had bread to put them on, but one can always of course order another croissant or slice of bread. The food is really delicious definitely worth what you pay. With it 's french style decor, friendly efficient service and delicious food, this is definitely a restaurant I will be coming back to in the future."

I have been here 3 times, the place is very nice, the weiter is very lovely and funny. Jut try to avoid Saturday peak (brunch time) as it's usually overcrowded and you will wait to be served very long time. View menu

Immer noch eine der am gemütlichsten eingerichteten Frühstücklokale. Leider lässt der Service langsam und freundlich geht anders. Das Frühstück Croissants mit frischem ........... gab es auch schon besser. Für das Geld gibt es viel bessere Dinge.

I walked in waited for a server. I asked if he spoke English he said sometimes some places....then he made a hurry up signal I asked if he was busy....he said he was....the place was pretty much empty. Now I see...why. Obviously he was too busy for a table for one.

This is really a beautiful place. The very small place is beautifully decorated. The waitress was very friendly and the service was great overall. We had three pieces of cake and everyone tasted great. The Rhabarb cheesecake was my favorite, but also the Zwetschgen/Plum and the raspberry cake were excellent. Prices were slightly higher than expected, but if you want to treat yourself, this is a great place to do so.
