Afternoon Tea At Four Seasons Hampshire

Disappointing. Did not live up to normal standards. We waited an hour for our afternoon tea to arrive, despite booking weeks in advance.

The service was excellent, with attentive staff and a lovely lounge perfect for enjoying afternoon tea. The spa treatments were fantastic as well.

Afternoon Tea for a birthday. Food and drink was excellent as was service. However, it is very busy and not all tables (we ended up squashed between two) are ‘spacious/comfortable’ enough to justify the cost. View menu

The customer service was lacking, but the hotel and facilities were well-kept. We ordered two teas to share among three people, which turned out to be quite a bit. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

A beautiful setting with impeccable service. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much for them to do. My 3 year old daughter had afternoon tea with us and she really enjoyed the afternoon. The food was outstanding and each mouthful was exquisite.

Delicious afternoon tea in a wonderful setting. The library where the tea is served is lovely and looks out over the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Very good selection of teas. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the scones, they were a bit overcooked and not very well risen. View menu

Fabulous food and very courteous service . Waiters were there when you needed them and unobtrusive when not. Only complaint is the number of people on their mobile phones with the constant ping ping of messages coming and going especially one group of people. Maybe a ban on use of phone would be appropriate ?

We had the last seating at 545 which was our choice . Table was lovely and the Library is really warm welcoming. The staff were also very friendly . The sandwiches were delicious The sweet/desserts delicious The scones cold and one of mine was dry and hard inside and out . I pointed this out and the lady immediately apologized and bought more out that were really nice warm and fresh just like they are best served . I think they’re always best served in a separate basket kept warm just personal preference. Would recommend as a lovely experience other than scones and they was quickly resolved .

Booked afternoon for 3, as it was a birthday treat. On arrival we were wondering around not sure where to go. The door to the library off of the lobby area was shut. I had to ask at reception as there was not any staff in the lobby. The staff that attended to us in the library were brilliant. Very polite and attentive. I’ve had afternoon tea quite a few times at the Four Seasons, and I have to say for the first time I walked away disappointed. The sandwiches were ok, but I feel the quality of the scones and cakes have slipped. The scones seemed dry, and the same for some of the cakes. It was such a same as it was for a friends birthday, and feel the quality doesn’t match the cost. View menu
