Afternoon Tea in the Palace Lounge at The Rubens Hotel

Although it could be a bit pricey, for its location, service, style and cleaniness of the hotel rooms, I found the stay quite enjoyable.

Many different tee options and very kind about offering seconds on everything. Food quality at the price was so-so. Service was excellent, attentive and nice, but room was showing its age.

great! the reubens delivered the perfect afternoon tea experience where it was my and the birthday party of my friend treated us like royal wonderful little touches like mini-prosecco cocktails with wonderful chocolate and a mini birthday cake. we had groundless champagnertee booked and they were very generous! great service, great ambient

from the moment we arrived at the rubens hotel, we were greeted with friendly staff. that was nice and fresh and we were happy enough to have a window seat. the only part is the bay trees outside of the mews opposite. we paid for the bottomless champagne and they were very good at refilling their glass and did not need to get their attention. the lady who served us offered advice to the tees as we were not great teetrinkers. overall a beautiful experience and would definitely go back

I was in many restaurants for tee, but that was by far my best experience. the hotel was easy to find and the facility was nice. the personal was super friendly and attentive. we gave a nice table in an alcove and although we were too late, we were allowed to stay for the time that was assigned to us. eating was amazing and very different from what I had before, which was a beautiful surprise. it was worth definitiw for money. we will return next year definitiw. many thanks for starting my Christmas celebration on the right foot. I will also recommend them to my friends and family.

I rarely write cripples, but that was so disappointing. the ambiente was great, but that's what it is. I took my daughter here for her first tee and she loved the experience, but eating was inexpensive. I let the personal 3x know that we don't eat pork and they served us a ham sandwich. their scones were good, but the sandwiches were dry with very little taste. none of the baked weep very well and I would not recommend this tee to everyone. I had better £20 tea services. with tipp we were at £100 for an adult and a child. fortnum mason is dramatically better and about the same cost.
