"The first bite of the small kitchen courtesy was crazy delicious, out of this world! But let’s go step by step, because not the whole experience was like that. This is a restaurant that privileges quality over quantity, as the waiter informs you from the beginning. Expect expensive prices, very well presented dishes, very good service and good taste. The portions are compact, without actually being really small I had the surprise menu, which disappointed me because it was not really a surprise. The surprise consists of the chef (or the personal of the restaurant) choosing for you what combination of starter, first plate, second plate and dessert you will have. But the dishes were listed in the weekly menu, so it was not an additional choice to what I had already read and that’s why I think it was disappointing. I expected something not included in the menu. The taste of the food was between good and really good in all dishes. Except for the risotto, which was prepared in octopus ink and after half of my portion the taste started to feel too intensive and somehow too salty. In this sense, the portion was too big to be part of a 4 -course menu. I found the atmosphere elegant, strict, and boring, really decadent and this does not transmit he sense of joy hat the food gives you in the mouth. I found particularly annoying that the clients didn’t seem to feel comfortable talking in a normal voice. Everybody was whispering their conversations as though they were afraid of disturbing the other people. It didn’t feel relaxed and natural, but this might have been just a matter of the clients of that particular night."

agapé is a wonderful place where their senses are pampered by wonderful people and excellent eating. it's like hearing a symphony. they can also buy some homemade deserts. I hope to come back soon.

We had a lovely lunch, sat outside, the waiter was very pleasant and recommended something which wasn't on the menu which was very nice. Very cheery atmosphere, lovely setting . . . On the more expensive side for a light lunch. View menu

First visit at Agapé for lunch time. Agapé position is central, they have a terrace which is very enjoyable during summer. The concept is simple, bistro style with a gastronomic, gourmet vision therefore small menu, fresh ingredients and a keen eye on the presentation. Cuisine influences from Italy as well as France. Today we were a party of three. We had a carpaccio de loud de mer with peach dots and lime and pomelo dices. Followed by a risotto with chanterelles and zucchini, a risotto with tomato, stracciatella shrimps and a iron steak with radish ravioli. Lunch was rounded up by a café gourmand (oh so French, oh so nice! . We all enjoyed our dishes, portions are correct and reflect their...

"Me and my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We came all the way from USA and I can tell you this place didn't disappoint us. Very nice location, close to the lake and easy to find. We started our 5 course chef's tasting menu from appetizers by chef. It was mix of cheeses in different variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho soup. 1.Our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, peach and lemon sauce. It was absolutely delightful. 2.Then we had poached egg in creamy pea puree and shaved with Belèer Knolle cheese. It was also one of my favorite dishes because it was so creamy and egg was a great addition to this dish. Also there were Bona crumbles sweet to balance the pea puree. 3. Next Paccheridi Gragnano halves with oriental veal ragout. unfortunately this pasta wasn't my favorite. It was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick uncooked pasta. We ask waiter and he confirmed that's the way it should be. Also too much peanuts overwhelmed the sauce and it felt you are eating sneakers. But I absolutely loved veal ragout sauce, it was rich with flavors and very nicely done. 4.Then our next dish was Red Mediterranean tuna with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, cucumber and puffed rice with seaweed. It was the best cooked tuna that I ever tried. It was so tender and melting on my tongue. 5. Next was perfectly cooked Duck with cherries. I absolutely loved duck, it was cooked to perfection!!! 6. Pre dessert strawberry basil puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare for the dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricot and carrot sorbet with prune compote. 8. And complementary truffle selection from Chef to congratulate us with our anniversary. Absolutely best anniversary meal. I also loved that service here was very open and nice. It was my first Michelin star experience and I didn't felt any snobbism, like in other restaurants in Milan for example. Nice presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us which is additional plus since my husband doesn't speak Italian. Absolutely worth the trip!"
