"when we approached the restaurant, there was dogepoo outside, not the best start. we were told that the restaurant had been renovated, which was very necessary. we noticed that they have padded the chairs and stands and the toilets a bit. an upgrade had, but essentially not done much. many very young male waiters and all were very polite and polite. we had popadoms and went straight to main dishes with a starter to be brought with our meal. it took an hour for the main course, and we noticed that a table of 8 had ended with us who arrived later, before our even were brought out. the meal was ok, my man said that was delicious, but commented on the bad presentation of my meal, which was the most expensive on the menu. in the night when I constantly needed a drink of water, I always feel like a chinese, so I think that was due to a strong salt absorption. will we visit again? probably not."

astonishing eating as always at the agrah. the refurb has brightened up the place properly and the service of kamal and his team excellent as always. for the first time sat for the Murgi ghost and was pleasantly surprised when it was a higher pfeffer. what I would have in the rule, but found it very nice, full of taste and not to overwhelm with the seasoned View menu

First impressions very busy, which is clearly a good sign, we had pickle tray starter, followed by chicken jalfrezi, and vegetable curry with lenon rice and an onion bagi each, so tasty and well presented, no pushy staff trying to get you to order more...drinks, would highly recommend to anyone, and everyone, as there were a couple with 2 young girls around 8 or 9 and impeccably behaved, a pleasant change these days, you won't be disappointed with this eatery

this restaurant r must be the oldest Indian restaurant in cleethorpes. it is great to see that it will be strong more than 40 years after its first opening. extensive menu with some different oriented and cook specialties. very confusedly well presented and intimately even tho all cooked to order. the homeade chapattis were excellent. we had 3 different dishes to share and all were so full of taste layers of seasoned with fresh crumbles. excellent service. an unforgettable meal.

Visited on a busy Friday night. Great welcome from the host, who created a nice mix of greeting and information about what was available. Drinks and food ordered we waited with great anticipation for our food. And what food it was! 4 meat, and one...vegetable dish. Rice and naan. Every dish was great, a couple excellent that Bahar chicken was sublime. Minor negative was the noise levels as the place filled up, but overall an excellent meal with good service at a great price. We recommend and will return. View menu

Right, I have to be honest. The food was fabulous, tasty, delicious. HOWEVER, one's experience is not just about the food is it? The staff (not enough of them) were rather brusque to the point of being rude at times. The biggest concern for us...all was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Old and sticky menus, a sticky handrail leading up to the toilets, less than hygienic toilets with no hand cleanser. Let's be honest, attention to cleanliness must surely be important at the moment...but not here. We wondered if the cleanliness in the kitchen reflected what we witnessed in the loos? We won't visit again... fearful of what we might catch.

Couldn’t see what the fuss is all about! Was pretty disappointed! Emailed ahead to explain my allergies as didn’t want a fuss at the table.. The waiter explained they simply didn’t ready my email. Great start! Waiter made big song and dance that they can...make something for me no problem.. only option was salmon… thought would have had Indian twist.. it didn’t! It came out slightly dry, with carrots all over the salad.. we had been through I can’t eat carrots.. I can’t be the only one in area who is lacotose intolerant.. you’d think they could make a simple curry with a milk alternative… Kingfisher Beer was nice. Had great expectations but others in our group weren’t over thrilled.. wouldn’...

"Attended a family wedding here recently. The restaurant, the location and the facilities were top notch, I think you would have to work hard to improve on what they have achieved here. However, the bar staff in the first floor function suite leave much to be desired ! Their attitude and reaction to the wedding guests during the wedding reception and evening event should definatly be improved ! It began with the sullen faces of the waiting staff during the reception , most should learn how to smile only one lady waitress blonde hair new starter was polite and smiled give her a job in staff training We asked for a bread roll during lunch, to be told, only for guests who have ordered soup ! Eventually after asking again they brought two over for the brides father... The evening event was a challenge when we struggled to understand why the part bottles of wine had disappeared from the table, when most of the guests were drinking spirits and beer etc. The penny , or should I say the C £17,000 dropped when the waitresses were removing full glasses of drinks from the table without checking! When challenged , the nonchalant response was to place the drinks back on the table and march off like petulant teenager! Our dismay was amplified the following day during a conversation with the restaurant manager told us , that 's what we do, If you need to keep your opened bottles of wine on the table you need to let us know , otherwise they will be removed! oh, so the wine is cleared along with the newly poured drinks too then? I don 't think we, or anyone else we know have ever been to a restaurant and even thought to tell the waiting staff not to take the half bottles of wine away before they have been emptied ? This usual practice was not discussed when we booked ! A cynic could suspect they re sell the newly recovered wine by the glass. This said, the manager did compensate with two bottles of the brides choice , so thanks for recognising the issue. But please consider NOT removing part bottles etc without checking in the first place."
