"too expensive, 40 euros per head more drink not for me. If I want the fish I go to the sea, on the icy hill makes no sense at this price. we asked for a flight sandwich (see prices) and they did not serve us. "Locale anni 80 in un paesino incantevole del Monferrato. Abbiamo pranzato abbastanza bene ma mi aspettavo qualcosa in più nell antipasto, come un assaggio di battuta di carne, visto che i salumi erano dozzinali. Per il resto nella norma. Ottimo il personale di sala. Tornerò per assaggiare la panissa."

"dinner for two. restaurant located on the hills, at the beginning of the mountain area. they make us sit at a table near a large window overlooking the Po Valley, overlooking the po and the first flooded rice fields. possibility to decide the menu, individually choosing the dishes or a complete menu and we opt for the great menu, complete with all the appetizers (5 cold and 3 hot,) a first, a second, sweet and coffee. all watered by one (instead of 2) bottles of grignolino of the homemade monferrato. What to say. First of all, the friendliness and the excellent reception from the staff of the room, who were not spared all evening, traveling between the tables and apologising if between an appetizer and the other has gone too long. However, we start with appetizers, flavors and genuine and fresh aromas. excellent the tunaed calf, where the sauce felt just that it was made in the house because very delicate and little acid, idem for the language in green sauce with the green sauce (or bath) homemade and very tasty. we continue with the rest of the appetizers coming to the first: agnolotti to the ragù, good and delicate and as expected by the girl in the room who took care of us. per second we are full then we opt for a fried mixed Piedmontese, fried really delicate and not heavy. On the hill. in a restaurant with typical Piedmont cuisine, and goes well. mixed fried with apple, banana, black cherry, semolina, sausage, liver, cervella, and breaded steak. conclusion of the evening. fully satisfied with the palate, I decided to return. Congratulations. and as far as the price is concerned, I must say right."

"Siamo stati in questo ristorante storico per un compleanno di un parente e devo dire che ci siamo veramente trovati bene. Gli arredi sono vintage anni 50-60 tutti originali e tenuti benissimo, donano un tocco di originalità all'ambiente. La cucina è genuina e sincera, con piatti della tradizione locale come la mitica panissa, il fritto misto e il dolce tipico del paese. Per finire, e cosa non scontata, ci siamo veramente sentiti coccolati dalla proprietaria che gestisce il locale da sempre, insieme ai suoi famigliari. Sicuramente una tappa fissa d'ora in poi quando saremo in zona. Meglio prenotare perché il menù non è alla carta ma è cucinato in base ai gusti del cliente (altra nota positiva secondo noi) e quindi se si vogliono mangiare determinate portate è necessario prenotare."

"Abbiamo pranzato in 4 sabato scorso, all'ingresso ci hanno informato che c'era il menù fisso che comprendeva: 8 grissini e ben 1 panino per tutto il gruppo 1 fettina a testa di salame, 1 di mortadella e 1 di prosciutto cotto, 2 fettine di peperone con acciughe definita bagna cauda, 1 sola porzione di carne cruda perche' gli altri non l'hanno voluta, buona e il fritto misto, buono. 1 bottiglia d'acqua frizzante e 1 litro di vino. Abbiamo rinunciato al dolce visto che era già inserito nel fritto misto e al caffè. 2 rhum e 2 amari (offerti) 139 euro, decisamente troppo. Purtroppo non ci siamo accorti che sulla porta d'ingresso c'era la descrizione dei menù, altrimenti saremmo andati da un'altra parte. Se si desidera il menù con il primo compreso costa 37 euro escluso le bevande, se si vuole anche il secondo 45 euro. Sicuramente non ci torneremo ancora."
