nice place a few steps from matera, finally a real farm with animals, vegetables from cultivation, fruit trees. friendly and helpful owners and staff. essential but clean rooms. beautiful pool also this well maintained and clean. super breakfast, excellent jams of their production. We could just have dinner one night and it was really great. the place is pleasant for those who love peace and tranquility immersed in a natural reserve overlooking the lake san giuliano. I and my friend had luck finding this place in our travels as it is a hidden gem. franco and the family are so friendly and helpful. that is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed it so much that we did not leave for the three days we stayed. there is a family of cats that are so friendly and hanged with us while we enjoyed weeping and oliven as we played cards. we woke up to see how the horse strolls through the trees and the view from the balcony as well as the view are something special. the dinners are absolutely amazing and we had the opportunity to enjoy the Sunday brunch, which is worth when they are in the opposite. the next time we are in the opposite, we will definitely return.

We have just spent 3 nights at the Assiolo Farm House and we are delighted! It is a family structure where everyone is welcoming and friendly. 1.
