Small and,tucked away dont be fooled the food is superb the best tasting indian food in the area.I fine there and have takeaways and the staff are excellent.

We ordered Garlic Chilli Tikka Masala, Chicken Dhansak, Chicken Tikka Biryani, Bombay Potatoes, Naan Bread and Pilau Rice. The food was fresh, delicious, and the service was very efficient.

The chicken tikka masala was flavorful, but had a cheap taste and was slightly too sweet. The lamb bhuna had a decent gravy but the meat was chewy. The dansak was spicy. I have loved this Albany Tandoori for years and I love going there as much as possible. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating, not to mention everything from their Saag Alu to the Chicken Tikka Masala, is simply gorgeous. Get another portion to have later at your flat or airbnb, trust me, you will be glad you did !!!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is absolutely delicious and the serving sizes are very generous. The Albany Starter and Lamb Chips are to die for and the Chicken Tikka is the best I've tried anywhere! Food was ordered at 20:05 and was scheduled to come at 21:00 however arrived 30 minutes early which was great! Thanks for a tasty meal!

We decided to try a takeaway meal from this restaurant on a Saturday night having read good reviews and were very impressed. The food quality and flavour was exceptional and highly authentic. This was easily the best Indian meal that I have had in a long time and will definitely be ordering from Albany again at the next opportunity. Highly recommended View menu

This was by far the most disappointing food delivery we have ever encountered. Despite the restaurant being only 3 minutes away, the food arrived cold enough to require reheating in the fridge. The only thing providing any warmth to my meal was the Pepsi Max I grabbed from the fridge. If you're looking for something to heat you up from the inside, I would highly recommend avoiding this place.

I have ordered from this restaurant quite a few times now. The first few orders I was amazed by the food, the delivery was on time, about an hour. The last few orders have been about a 3hr wait. The first time, I can potentially forgive, it happens, but we had the restaurant on redial for 45 minutes and nobody answered. Due to how much we liked the food we tried again. This time it took 3 hours to arrive. We managed to get hold of somebody at the restaurant and no apology, nothing. No longer will we be ordering from this restaurant ever again. Such a shame as the food is awesome.

My husband placed an order with Albany tandoori yesterday as a valentine meal for us and since management has changed we have noticed this has gone down hill. The order took 3 hours to come and when we tried calling the restaurant more than 10 times the phones were busy and no one was answering when we did manage to get through. Their excuse was “sorry it’s Valentine’s Day” didn’t even Offer a refund. I’m utterly disappointed as my in laws have been going to albany for more than 20 years. If you can’t take orders due to being busy then state that. Food was flavourless too which never is usually the case. View menu
