"On a family trip in early August, my family and I were hungry on the crowded beach at Port de Point Rouge (Marseille) at about 2:00 in the afternoon. We went from restaurant to restaurant trying to find someone who would serve us, but they were all closed. We had forgotten about the "down time" a lot of restaurants have around here. We wandered into this little restaurant, and were met with a warm welcome and delicious food. When the owner found out that we were from Canada, he generously gave sample foods to try which we asked him about before making our original order. An hour later, we left thoroughly happy with good food in our bellies and renewed energy for exploring Marseille. This was a great little sit down / take out restaurant with authentic Egyptian food."

You don't trust the looks of "small kebab lambda" until this restaurant. the welcome is warm, the patron who is Egyptian is adorable and brings us time of a snack all the generosity of his country of origin. the pancakes are delicious and the falafels excellent. fresh products. value for money.
