We went there with our group of 16 people. The place is like a brewery. Everything in wood. The waitress was fun and fast! Now you have to understand this is not a gourmet temple! Their food is home style cooking, very simple but tasty....They also have decent prices! Our men loved the beer they serve! So if you would like to have a fun night with simple home cooking food , then is the Alexander a place to go! By the way the menu is in German and English.

here on the basis of the reviews and close to our hotel. we came and were very busy, so got a place at the bar, where the employees were all very friendly and helped us with English menus and chat. we discovered later that we arrived. time for her quiznacht. it lasted for hours, where it seemed that they had to ask for multiple selection and also outs with fahnen and song/album references. recommend the chicken salad and pork. the portion size was amazing and the taste! large local kitchen, beer and a good atmosphere.

As a student on my year abroad, Alexander is a great place to meet with friends and have a consistently good and filling meal. As a vegetarian, I 'm not disappointed by the choice. There 's a page of the menu called ' 'fleischlos ' ' (meat-free), and although there 's...still only around 4 main meals to choose from, it 's still alot more than most other restaurants offering traditional German food I would come here much more often if the drinks were around 20% cheaper though (they 're around 4-5 euros per half litre).
