"Great service but food was quite bland. Quesadillas was not properly cooked and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The sizes of the drinks were pathetic for lack of a better word. A long drink should be just that: long and therefore not served in child-size glasses and still be that expensive. In total we spent 45 minutes there, and that included a starter."

We had a lovely time at Alfonso’s! The staff is super nice and the food is delicious. The entire restaurant, with the music and everything, made us feel like we were in Mexico! 10/10 would recommend.

We ate here in December, it wasn't busy but the service was excellent. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was great and calm. We didn't have to wait long for our food. And all this for a very reasonable price! Will definitely go again.

Good Mexican place with friendly staff and quick service. We’re from the US so our expectations for Mexican food in Amsterdam weren’t very high but I can happily say this restaurant provided what we were craving. Great service: waiter was very accommodating when we showed up near closing time, and very attentive throughout our meal. Generous food portions at fair prices. We had beef and chicken tacos which were really good (shell did not fall apart). A bit disappointed they did not have shrimp filing for the tacos. Overall pleasant experience.

Good food, polite staff, fast service. The restaurant didn't have outside sitting area, so maybe not the best choice for a hot summer day. If only the air conditioning was better and the music was a tiny bit louder/better quality to drown out the noise of people taking, the experience would have been great. I'd go back when it gets colder
