"We ate here by accident. We had plans to go to a restaurant in the village but, after a long and tiring day of hiking and sledging, we opted to just eat in the hotel instead. The restaurant is understated and the menu isn't extensive but the food is very good. We had the Goat Ragout with Spaetzle and the Sea Bass. Both were delicious. The couple beside us had raclette which looked really good as well. If we every go back to Grindelwald, we will definitely eat there again. When I say below that the price is mid-range and good value, that is accurate for Grindelwald only."

A sweet place with beautiful views! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had Rump Steak and I had a chicken cure. We loved it! The children had a cheese pizza and a pasta dish. We loved everything.

It was suite 401. I miss the view from the top floor. I feel bad for Shilla Hotel. If I come back, this is a place I want to stay again. However, it is a bit difficult to get down and go up. You don't carry a suitcase with you all the time. Haha, you only have to suffer once. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was warm. I had a good rest View menu

The hotel restaurant is really convenient, especially after a long day of traveling. It's small and cozy since it's up a pretty steep hill and a little out of the way, most everyone who eats there is also staying there. The hotel staff is very friendly. The food was really good I had goat stew and Swiss dumplings, most ingredients locally sourced. My husband had schnitzel and pommes frites. Mine was better. : I would say give the restaurant a try if you're staying at the hotel. Otherwise, the restaurant in your own hotel is probably as good and more convenient.
