"A classic stop on Brick Lane's true Bangladeshi restaurants. The service is at best mediocre, but the variety of very different curries is just astonishing. A win is combining rice or the homemade paratha bread (never naan with a selection of dry/saucy curries. Bangladesh consumes a great deal of freshwater fish so give them a try if you don't mind picking though bones. Brain masala is addictive. Prices are inexpensive NOTICE: Unlike your typical curry house, food is already cooked so it's just reheated before being served (In my opinion a rested curry will always taste better)."

Bangladeshi food, excellent taste. Tea £2.50 didn't taste that good.

this place is not for tourist, it is authentic bengali, as cheap as they find in london, and totally sublime. I am here regularly, every other week at least almost always the biryani and treats like a prin.

yummy bengali eating, loved the taste, but the mutton was disappointment as it was heated again and again! that was our third or fourth visit here! the journey to brick lane is mandat and so is this lunch here!

If I had the choice I would rate it 0. This has to be the only restaurant in London where the staffs think its okay to misbehave with their customers. This was shocking. I wouldn't be surprised if bad food quality is also tolerated just like bad quality of service is tolerated here. Please do not waste your money going here

Bad service. We always eat at the restaurant opposite it just because we prefer the food there and prefer to come here for tea. We didn't think it was a problem until the person behind the counter very creepily noticed this and called us out for doing so and called us cheap customers and he was shouting this out in front of the entire place. Do not waste your money going here where they have no value for the customers or sense of how to treat them. One word, PATHETIC!

it is a useful address for a cheap start in a night that they do not feel like cooking when they live in front of location. there is a very wide range of prefabricated curries on offer I like the buttery biryani flavored with anis, and contains very delicate slowly boiled lamb. tarka dahl is too liquid for my taste. spinach with white bores are pretty when a small bland. cured chicken breast has a good taste, but is somewhat dry. we have some pleasant fish curries, which must be filled dinner for two with enough rest for a big lunch for one in the rule comes to £13-£15.
