"Trattoria nel Lodigiano da noi scoperta un po' per caso, ma dopo averci cenato abbiamo tutti spostato la residenza. Antipasti ottimi e abbondanti, dal lardo al cotechino passando da salumi, raspa e molto altro, primi con gnocchi all'ortica, fettuccine al sugo di lepre, un risotto radicchio e salsiccia esagerato e dei casoncelli dolci davvero di ottima qualità. Tra i secondi spicca il manzo all'olio (piatto forte del posto e davvero da provare), ma tagliata e stracotto d'asino non sono da meno. Buoni anche i dolci. In 6 persone (in realtà 7 ma la bimba si è mangiata parte delle nostre portate viste le dosi davvero abbondanti) con 4 bottiglie di vino abbiamo speso poco più di 40 euro a testa. Davvero nulla in rapporto a qualità e dosi. Ultimo dettaglio (che non è un dettaglio) titolare e personale gentilissimi, ti mettono a tuo agio come se si fosse clienti da sempre. "The restaurant is located in the province of Crema, a few kilometers from the beautiful Lombard town Cozy, elegant place with excellent service. The appetizers are very good, accompanied by a light fried dumpling that does not overpower the flavor of the cold cuts. The risotto with mushrooms was delicious, served well and hot at the right point. The tortelli from Crema are excellent, also well cooked and served as tradition dictates, drowned in butter and with lots of parmesan cheese. Absolutely worth trying."

"I managed to organize a relaxing day for my girlfriend’s birthday, going then in this restaurant after having read all the positive reviews. After visiting the abbey and the small town, we had a lunch in this really wonderful restaurant. The place is beautiful and cozy, the hospitality was perfect since the beginning with gentle owner and waiter and, last but not least, the food was great. We took mixed cheese and mixed vegetables homemade (highly recommended as starters), and then one baked trout and one sliced steak with tomatoes, rocket and raspdura, local cheese. At the end, one dessert with whites chocolate and raspberry. Dishes suggested and also rich, so I would recommend the restaurant for sure, especially for some events due to the beautiful atmosphere. Unluckily I do not have all the photos."

"I have been visiting Il Paiolo pretty often in the past one year and they never failed to please me! I have mostly been there for business lunch but I suggest to keep it among favourites for a nice dinner. The location is a bit...unexpected for an elegant restaurant but it serves me pretty well as it is close to my head office. This restaurant offers a great variety of fine dishes, the menu is updated almost daily and dishes are good combination of nice presentation and Italian good taste! You can experience both traditional as well as creative dishes, the management has an eye for seasonal ingredients, which is something I do appreciate a lot as it shows the care for the freshness of the ingredients. The price is a bit on the higher side compared to average italian restaurants but the quality of food makes it value for money in my point of view. They can serve vegetarian dishes as well (better if informed in advance), as I have taken few vegetarian guests to them and looked to be pretty happy. The staff is very kind and helpful and remembers their guest tastes as dislikes. A very good selection of wines and liquors is available to properly accompany the meal. Definetly suggest to pay a visit or to take guests here as it is hard to be disappointed!"

"Posto molto carino, ottimo per i pranzi di lavoro. Location: L 'ambiente interno è moderno e spazioso. Esternamente c 'è un bel parcheggio che tiene una ventina abbondante di auto. Menú: Valuto il menú del pranzo: un unico foglio su cui è scritto il 'menú di lavoro ' a 11 euro, per cui puoi scegliere fra tre primi, tre secondi e tre contorni acqua. Potrebbe essere presentato meglio, ma è comunque un pranzo di lavoro che cambia ogni giorno, per cui direi che ci sta. Servizio: Alle 13:00, con la sala ancora piena di gente, il servizio è rapido e cordiale. Un plauso. Cibo: Buone le porzioni, buono il sapore. Ahimè, la pasta era cottissima, ma il secondo era davvero buono (pollo arrosto con patate al forno). Prezzo: Direi che un pranzo di lavoro cosí abbondante a 11 € lo trovi solo nelle mense, ma la qualità qui è di molto superiore ad una mensa (e vorrei ben vedere haha). Ottimo, rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Informazioni aggiuntive: I bagni sono ben tenuti, nuovi, puliti e spaziosi. Gel igienizzante per le mani"
