"A very large restaurant, likely seating people or more in two large rooms, a side terrace and a front dehors. They look like having an established reputation, as they have and sell to take away their own branded selection of balsamic vinegar, olive oil,...wine, cakes and more foods I can't remember now. Food is extremely good. We focused on fresh porcini (boletus) and spugnole (morels) fungi and a tad of truffle: fresh porcini salad, grilled porcini and green (spinach in the dough) tagliatelle with cream and morels, salame (they call it salsiccia passita here, or withered sausage Grilled porcini, and an additional grilled beef filet were especially well cooked the latter was as good as I can remember, likely kept at room temperature before grilling so it was rare and still more uniformly cooked than usual. Mixed cold cuts with fried crescentine (small pieces of leavened dough lightly deep-fried). Servings were sizeable, still we forged on and managed to have dessert, too. We had mascarpone with cooked cherries and an extremely tasty eggnog-like cream ice cream with blueberries in syrup small and delicious. Overall, with lots of water and a couple of Belgian-style ales made few miles from this place we paid less than Euros per person, which I regard as extremely reasonable. Service was family-style and very good. They did bring a second course (which we had ordered after our main order) before first courses, and apologised profusely when they realized. Never mind. I wish I'll have a chance to be back; it's comparatively far from main roads, along a great countryside landscape, similar to Tuscany's if with steeper slopes on lower hills, and a bit darker green these days."
