Aromi - Menu

During our stay at the Hilton London T4, we had a delightful dinner for two at Aromi. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we found the wines to be enjoyable. It was a relaxing evening before a long flight.

Very friendly and professional service and congratulations to the citizens of Italy and India and particular thanks to the Lebanese chef who’s Lebanese Platter was very good. It is meant for 2 but make sure you don’t take any starters or you will never finish the platter.

We got a hotel by the airport the day before we returned. The weather wasn’t that great so we decided to try a place around there and they got food reviews. The food was average. Not bad not great. Had the sea bass. Prices were reasonable given the location. The service was good. If ever I was in the neighborhood again i would try another restaurant

The Aromi restaurant at the Terminal 4 Hilton has gone through main itterations... from a first class buffet operation to more lately a sophisticed Italian bistro...now it has changed again into a mainly Greek themed pan-mediterranean hodgepodge. The menu, quality and wine list is uniformly short and nasty. The other evening the restaurant was rightly empty yet the snack bar was packed. The food was overpriced, poorly cooked and badly presented.

We had a very tasty dinner tonight in an airport hotel. What a surprise! Crato who provided the service to our table was very friendly and caring. We ordered the lamb and noodle. Lamb was tender and rice was filled with flavor. Chinese noodle was spicy right on the point. It’s a real “Chinese dish” instead of western “Chinese dish” Both main courses are very tasty. After we finished the dinner, we still couldn’t believe such a wonderful dinner was from a restaurant in an airport hotel.

We went to a modern restaurant with a lovely ambience and comfortable seating. When we arrived late, the restaurant was quite crowded. The menu offered a variety of options, and we both ordered delicious dishes - my husband had the butter chicken and I had the falafel burger. Both were beautifully presented with fresh garnishes and were very satisfying. The service was attentive and professional, and the prices were fair compared to other places we have dined in London. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience.

The LHR Hilton’s premier restaurant, and justifiably so. We were staying at the Premier Inn next door but wanted a more upscale restaurant for dinner. The service was excellent and genuinely friendly from our waitress from Lithuania and the food was first rate. I had the delicious sea bass and my wife had the risotto, which she said was excellent. We each had a great tarte tatin for dessert and there was a reasonable selection of wines by the glass. We were seated at a table with a view and had a delightful dinner. We have stayed at the Hilton before, but we found the Premier Inn was about half the price and had everything we needed. But it did not have a restaurant of this class.

To start, I tried their carpaccio, a dish of thinly sliced or pounded raw fish, as an appetizer. For the main course, most of us ordered the rainbow trout fillet with a side of asparagus, which was a special of the day. Despite being full, we couldn't resist trying the warm chocolate sponge with ice cream for dessert. The food was delicious and the service was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated considering our time constraints. The prices were on the higher side, but the quality of the food and service justified the cost. I’m travelling on business and staying at the Hilton (terminal 4) ready for an early flight tomorrow , instead of the usual ‘room service burger for one’ I thought I’d check out the restaurant menus on the way to the room. The Aromi waiter came over to discuss the menu with me but I have a rare allergy so told him I probably couldn’t really eat anything on the menu. I have to say he was brilliant and said, without being pushy, that he would get the chef to tweak a meal for me. So glad I agreed, I got a bespoke meal and it was lovely. I highly recommend a visit if you’re in the hotel, you won’t be disappointed. It’s behind the other restaurants so most people seemed to sit before getting here...
