"We had read a lot of the good reviews and we're traveling through the area and decided to take a chance. I will say directly that I have not had a lot of great experiences in Spain with Sushi because there is a confusion here that seems to revolve around the idea that combining rice with raw fish is sushi and unfortunately that is not the case. I've only eaten in two really good sushi bars in Spain out of maybe 25 or 30 that we have tried. Unfortunately that was the case here as well. First and foremost the ordering is really confusing because the menu is not clear. There is a tablet that arrives at the table where you can order from and then there's also a separate menu where you can order different items directly from the waiter. As mentioned in many of the other reviews, the service is very kind and gentle, but the actual food service as sushi is not particularly good. The most important ingredient in great sushi is the preparation of the rice and the balance ratio between race and well-prepared and will cut fresh fish. There is a reason why people learning to be sushi chef spend 6 or 7 years learning just have to make the rice. The quality of the rice, the temperature and the flavor are extraordinarily important to offset against the quality of the fish. Here in the restaurant the proportion is extremely unbalanced. Way too much rice and very thinly sliced pieces of fish. What happens is the rice overwhelms the fish. You don't get a chance to really taste of fish and my wife and I ended up finding ourselves cutting the race in half and leaving it on the plate just so we could taste the fish. Speaking of the fish; the selection is fairly minimal and I don't know what was happening with Chef that day or maybe his training is not that great, but he did not really know how to cut fish in terms of the thickness of the slice or the direction of his cut. The tuna we were served was cut in such a way that you could still see the ligaments in the tuna and cut against the grain and it was fairly odd tasting fish. In fact nothing in the menu that we tasted for fish was particularly that outstanding. I don't mean to be critical but if you're going to serve sushi serve the best possible sushi that you can. Unfortunately I don't think I will be going back."

We share a friends dinner. Everything was perfect. The food but also the place and the people there. You can always try something new as they always prepare several daily original sushi pieces. You can also enjoy its food with take away. No doubt I will be back soon! View menu

Today we have suppered in this restaurant my partner and I on the recommendation of a friend, and has dripped us. I'm a vegetarian and my partner eats fish from time to time, so we decided to go, as we love the two sushi. the attention was good and very friendly by the girl who attended us, answered all my questions about unproblem vegetarian options. a delicious sushi and although the prices are somewhat high, they are worth a fresh and quality sushi. We will probably come back.

the good reviews made us come to dinner to this restaurant during our stay in a coruña. the place, although of light, is very nice. the truth is that I drip a lot, although I should say that the purest sushi could feel disappointed, since the rice they use in the preparations is not that of the short-grained japonica variety. I asked the waiter and he assured me that they used sushi rice, so my conclusion is that they should use some variety of sushi rice, medium/long grain, unusual to find in Japanese restaurants. Since we were not regular customers, it took us a bit to get the trick to pick the dishes on the tablet where you have to point the order. the food: very good, in taste and combin...

"A Coruña never disappoints when it comes to food. URO Rest and Club ambiance is impeccable. From the lighting, to the decors, the furnishings, and the background music. It's like a piece of heaven. I can imagine myself dining here after a whole day of work. It would be a great relief.  The restaurant was a bit crowded when I dine but it didn't affect my experience at all. I feel that people come to URO to spend time with friends or loved ones, talk about good things while enjoying the great ambiance and sumptuous meal. Though it was crowded, the staff were very attentive to everyone. They are very organized and I can see a smile on their faces which is great  : The guy who assisted me is very good in english. He was extremely helpful and made sure that my dining experience was pleasant. I highly appreciate it.  About the food, the food ranges are remarkable,  interesting and in my opinion very different from what is normally offered in other restaurants. I find it very inventive in a great way. It appears traditional but there is a touch of the modern times. If you are a food enthusiast looking to try something extraordinary, this is definitely the restaurant for you. I ordered the avocado with tuna ceviche, black paella, and for dessert, cheese cake and cappuccino. All the food I ordered was amazing. The avocado with tuna ceviche is my favorite. It reminds me a lot of my childhood. I didn't imagine that avocado and tuna would be good together but it does, it was perfect. I came to Spain hoping to try black paella. This was my second black paella on this trip and this one from URO definitely is the best. It has a sweet white side dressing which fits well with the black rice and the seafood that comes with it was cooked perfectly. The cheesecake was delectable, just the right amount of sweetness in your palate. I admit the price was higher than usual but I have no regret, it was all worth it.  I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely come back to try other meals they offer. "
