"Great place. Don't be put off by the basic appearance of this place, it really is all about the food at Asia Style which serves a combination of Chinese and Malaysian food The place has a great atmosphere and is pretty much always busy, so expect to wait for a table, but it's a short wait. Fast service from the staff who will plonk a big pot of green tea down on your table and keep it topped up, and the food comes out fast too and is excellent. The Nasi Lemak is still the best I have tried outside of Malaysia, and other dishes like the soft shell crab are delicious. Watch out as some of the dishes can be very spicy, but the staff are friendly and keen to help so do ask their advice...read more"

Post pub.... One of my favourite post pub haunts. I'm pretty boring when it comes to Chinese food (I should try harder) but my more adventurous friends love this place and highly recommend it.

fine dining. ok, so the venue could be a little dipped up and they could do with the card machine, but this is the most authentic Asian purchase that I have found so far in glasgow. the laksa is highly recommended.

The Malaysian pancakes and satay sauce are not very impressive. They taste even better after a couple of beers. This was always a favorite spot for me when I lived in Glasgow. The quality hasn't changed at all. I just wish they delivered to Edinburgh.

This restaurant has been a favorite of our family for a long time. While the portions may be smaller and the service may have improved, the food is still delicious. It remains the go-to spot for Chinese/Malay cuisine in Glasgow. The spicy soft shell crab and Malay pancakes are popular choices, and don't forget to try the green tea served by the pot.

Without a doubt the most authentic chinese restaurant in Scotland. The menu leans toward Malaysian style chinese cooking with their Malay Curries which come in huge bowls with plenty of soup. The Salt and Pepper Squid and Soft shell crab are the best I've ever eaten. Add genuinely friendly staff and good service (not to mention the free green tea and you've got a winner.

This Malaysian restaurant may not have fancy decorations or flattering lighting, but it has its own charm. The service is quick but impersonal, and the food is fantastic. Don't miss the laksa, noodles, curry with green beans and coconut milk, or the sweet and sour porridges. This place is great for a late night or last-minute meal if you're not too concerned about restaurant aesthetics and hospitality.

I'd like to say that the food was even more delicious than I was led to believe, but given the hype Asia Style's been enjoying I think that would be impossible. I did like it though, and there were some great highlights, I especially loved the really simple Asian flavours of the roast duck and my braised beef all washed down with gallons of tea. We started by sharing a couple of starters: Malaysian pancakes and fried tofu. The pancakes were probably my favourite part

Far Eastern version of a transport cafe!. ... and I mean that as a compliment. The salt and pepper squid was amazing, the portion sizes of the steamed cod in sauce and the ginger duck were more than a match for our appetites. As first-timers we found the menus confusing, and people around us were eating things which didn't appear to be on any of them. The decor and atmosphere are pretty basic bright lighting and wooden tables. It's also so popular that you have the queue of people waiting for tables staring at your every mouthful. But I can fully understand why it's as popular and it's clearly frequented by regulars who nip in for their tea on a daily or weekly basis. So, do...read more
