"Having this wonderful place just nearby really is one of our little luxuries. The menu at lunch always represents the seasonal availability of local produce & Dominique creates his own versions of 'standards' which are guaranteed to delight the tastebuds.Whether chicken tortilla, lamb kebab (one of our all time favourites!) seafood risotto or yummy homemade lasagna - Dominiques dishes will have you planning your second visit before finishing your first.Dominique is also happy to accomodate the appetites of his little guests - our 5yo very happy with a childs portion of pasta (in butter or tomato sauce) & small salad garnishing.Yummy appetizers are offered as an accompaniment to all dishes & depend on what Dominique dreams up in the morning for that days lunch. Outside dining on the terrace under the shady branches of a chestnut tree is our preference but call & book to avoid disappointment.To finish off your lunch, leave room for the Cafe Gourmand - coffee & 3 wonderfully chosen desserts!Located directly opposite the Léchelles train station, getting there from Fribourg or Payerne is an easy short train ride."

Quand mon ancien collègue me propose de dîner ensemble à l auberger, c est toujours un plaisir, on y rencontre des habitués, avec qui on passe de bon moments.Les patrons sont sympathiques, toujours beaucoup d humour et une mise en bouche sans faute depuis 7 ans.Les cuissons excellentes, un risotto fabuleux, un trio de crème brûlée qui vous aiguise les papilles.Aussi bon à la brasserie qu'au restaurant.Une adresse fortement conseillée, attention au jour de fermeture.

Twice, in the space of 2 weeks, I went to eat in this restaurant and twice the waiting time to receive his plate had been very very long! The first time for the evening meal a waiting time of 1 hour while the restaurant was not overbooked and the second time 3/4 hour for a simple menu of the day for noon!!! In addition, the responsiveness of the sommeliers leaves much to be desired! Despite the good quality of the meals, this is the last time I will eat in this establishment. In any case you will be warned!
