"A long time back I gave this place a raving review… and I could have done so throughout the years after each and every one of our visits there. Now, with autumn here and the menu featuring game again, we quickly booked a table and wanted to enjoy (another) superb meal composed of different venison specialties. As expected, everything was delicious… but to our surprise, each order came on a single plate; meat with all the traditional game trimmings, Spätztle and vegetables. It was so crowded that the dish actually looked messy. Nothing stood out, especially not the meat which is supposed to be the featured part of the meal. And not only that, it was rather difficult to cut the fillet without pushing one or the other item off the plate. Again, the cooking was perfect (so was the service), but overloading a plate takes the joy away from eating."

Present to eat a nice game meal at midday. Copious and excellent plate. Service a little long to come despite the few people present, but nothing dramatic.

The place is nice but the dish one lunchtime arrived after 40 minutes before the starter and was cooked to medium point instead of rare. Not a single apology from the boss.

Go there, you won't regret it! Hunting meal with friends: A perfect egg with truffle as a starter A tender saddle of venison, perfectly cooked, as well as spätzlis to die for!!!! The staff is just perfect too :

A safe bet for years! The homemade hunting terrine as well as the hunting dish with its accompaniments were excellent. And a new, very friendly and efficient team, including the boss's son as chef in the kitchen.

The Auberge it's in a very nice quiet village. The welcome was not the best, waiters were far too busy to pay attention on each table. However once we managed to place our order, we went for the simple option, Menu for two, we were really satisfied with the quality of food. Great food, definitely will be back to eat a la carte as well.
