"the day before we were here, we had lunch at another place connected to augustiner that we really enjoyed so we thought we were going big mistake! one of the basic rules for the trip is to avoid all the restaurants that were close. to a great tourist location. our midday experience reflected every reason why we usually stick to this rule! the eating was (best) moderate, the staff was in some cases rude and in others pushing, and finally, the server still special on us where we should tap. go on to leasing a block or two from the main road to get a decent restaurant where they are not exploited! I will still be committed to forgetting the important rule stay away from restaurants in immediate vicinity of tourist sites!"

a. good food, beer also, faster service. a little attention at the service and a few more smiles at the waiters would not hurt.

So I find great Bavarian hostage in the middle of the pedestrian zone, good Bavarian Hueche, of course more expensive than in Lower Bavaria!

Gorgeous location with real Bavarian flair, and super nice service staff! Drinks and food are delicious, value for money also fits and the whole thing in the heart

Average food. Very rude service. Does not speak English. We had to accept sitting at a crowded table during covid, with the explanation this is not a restaurant, it is a beer bar, you are expected to socialize, the other guests at the table did...only speak German....

Forget it! We had a completely disappointing experience. Stale Bretzen, a pigshaxe, which like boiled three days before and repeatedly heated again, an Allgauer Alm dish, where the egg noodles tasted like plastic and the sauce was somewhat brownish water. Just a little. Never! View menu

In the Neuhauserstrasse, in the pedestrian zone between Marienplatz and Karlsplatz. You can sit in front of the restaurant in the pedestrian zone or inside. There it is quite large, but it can still be filled. The ambience is rugged and original, but nice. Operation is sometimes overwhelmed. The food is Bavarian and good.

The term large-scale restaurant honors Worlaut. The guest room is really very large and yet often still full to the roof. Augustinian restaurants are always my first choice among restaurants due to the good Augustinian beer. In terms of price, this place is absolutely i.O. for the central location. In warm temparatures, the outside area, i.e. the small beer garden, is highly recommended.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
