"Went there really because of its proximity to the hotel and also because of what we had read. But the menu & a la carte items were all appealing and seemed like value for money. Fish, lamb, and tartare were had, all delicious. The steak on another table looked equally delicious. Wine was very reasonable, the house wine perfectly acceptable and we were always prompted for another. When it came to desserts, the creme brûlée was a winner, and their special tiramisu excellent. The cheese selection was interesting and equally recommendable. All in all, very enjoyable experience."

I've visited this restaurant with my family and we found the food to be very tasty and well cooked. All three starters dishes were top!

Some less usual dishes on the menu. I love lambs kidneys, never had them this way before in a small pan of a cream and wine sauce. One snag for me, wine bytheglass - poor choice - wine by the bottle better, but no carafes or ½ bottles

Taken here by friends on a Saturday evening. Excellent choice. Friendly efficient service and food that not only looked good on the plate but also tasted superb. Can recommend the Tatin d'oignons and a really yummy traditional crème brûlée.

Visited here last week and the food was really very good. We arrived at around 7.30 in the evening and were the first there but it soon filled up - it did look like there was one waiter and he was doing a superb juggling act! We couldn't complain about anything other than feeling slightly uncomfortable after all the food! View menu

Had a reasonalbe meal here. Nothing memorable but well cooked. Beef carpaccio and ouefs cocottes as starters from a smallish menu. Hake as one of the mains and creme brulee for dessert as part of a set menu. Simple cooking without anything memorable. Nice room and friendly service. prices average. just of Place Graslin so convenient for our hotel.

We decided to eat here after looking at several restaurants that looked all the same - overpriced for same food. This place was different and the food we had was really tasty, wine list was quite good and not overpriced and the staff were really friendly.I had the french onion soup to start, chicken risotto for main and their speciality salted caramel tiramisu for dessert. Would highly recommend.

Despite an efficient and friendly service, food is less than average : no real flavour, no innovation, no surprise.... The dish I've chosen was supposed to be an "excptionnal piece" at +25€ = wlid river fish in a white butter sauce. Well, I'm making a lot better one myself.... The wine list is also expensive, the average bottle is between 25/30€ for basic wines. Not a disastrous dinner, but not unforgetable either. View menu

We had a couple of evening meals here, and generally enjoyed them. One slight problem was the variation in quantity. One evening my wife had an enormous knuckle of lamb, while I had a delicious, but very modest, portion of hake. However, we had no complaints about the cooking, and still less about the service, which was very friendly and helpful. The menu is a little limited, but is supplemented by occasional specials. Try it.

We went to this place for lunch (my parents, niece, nephew and I), mostly because my parents had already been to this place once and wanted to go again. The food was excellent and the waitress was really nice. I'd definitely recommend this place, loved it.Access info for the disabled: As far as I remember you have to go up one step to get into the restaurant, after that it's all level (the toilets are also on that same level, no steps).
