Very good coffee. My wife loves the green tea. And one of the few places that have Eccles cakes

Had a lovely coffee and cake here. Staff are so friendly was served by a young man called Dean who was very friendly and helpful.

Myself and daughters went in for a mocha and hot chocolates. Very busy but the ladies in there done a great job, stayed calm and smashed it out. Great job ladies!

We love going to Bake Out for a baked potato lunch and a coffee. The lunch is very tasty and the coffee a really nice blend and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Its also dog friendly which is important to us. We will remain regulars for sure! :

it's a pretty good bakery. vast improvement over the forfars that existed here many years ago. baked, desserts, toasties, coffee, breadcrumbs, etc., everything they would expect. all a high quality, although a little expensive. there are some sitting options and the interieur is pleasant enough, but I can easily imagine that it fills up for lunch.

Atrocious attitude displayed towards us, 2grannies, 67 and 67 yr. old and our grand children, boy and girl 3/5 yrs old. We were treating them after school. 3 hot choc, a scone, a delicious biscuit and tea, total £17.00+. Quite good quality food and service until my grandson spilled his chocolate. I was annoyed, but he is a child. I offered to clean up, by mopping up with tissues, which i did. The staff were unhelpfully unwelcome at this point. No prentention of sympathy or understanding was made. And certainly no thanks for my cleaning up.

This is a little gem in the village of Southwick. They make and bake their own goods which provides fresh and tasty food. Although this isn’t a predominantly vegan bakery, it offers a few selections that are plant based. The hot vegan sausage rolls are the standout, but they also offer vegan sweet treats such as vegan chocolate cookies, jam doughnuts, carrot cake and Eccles cakes! I would vote 5 stars, but can only do that is they were fully vegetarian. If you are a veggie, then the Italian panini and Mac Cheese are apparently superb too. The service is also incredibly friendly and I’d recommend a visit if you’re ever passing through around the Brighton area. Updated from previous review on... View menu
