I had only one coffee at the bar (so I can't judge it). the coffee was extremely bad (magged as burned). I left half of it in the cup. it was more expensive than in average Community prices.

the next time will have more than an excellent brunch, as piadina has been made with very good quality of cheese and ham. marmelade was inventive and tasty. service is excellent and decor is more than a very good taste. could be in a motel.

Had a lovely latte Miachotto and a few beers late afternoon outside as it was a beautiful day. Lots of people eating delicious cakes but when I asked for the menu the waiter said they only have a few and they had a gone!! Pity...as I definitely would have ordered some food...waiter wasn't over happy either! View menu

We visited when it just opened years ago) and we were very disappointed. We had drinks but decided to have dinner elsewhere. days ago, we had an appointment across the street and decided to give it another try and were pleasantly surprised! New...manager/staff, great food and service, had a great dinner. Will definitely come back!

small and beautiful bar on the corner of the leopold road in schwabing. surprise after a long week delicouus italian food in selva di gröden. square is beautiful and in style of old Italian bars, nice service and eat very well. the bathroom reminds me of the high-ranking restaurants in rom! my amatriciana was delicious! good choice for lunch during the shopping time in münchen. I strongly recommend!

I have been coming to Bar Giornale for years and after a series of lunches, dinners, alfresco dining and bar events I can honestly say I never had a bad or bland meal. The menu is small but perfectly formed, always fresh this...is seasonal Italian food at its best and in a very central location. Prices are also very good both for the food and location but also the attentive service. There is an enclosed outdoor terrace and lovely tables indoors complete with linen tablecloths. View menu

Had Sunday breakfast with friends at Giornale. I really likes the atmosphere inside, really feels like being in Italy. The breakfast menu is not huge but there is probably sth for everyone. They do also have egg variations. Service was unfortunately pretty bad as the...waiter forgot a lot and it was hard to get his attention. We ordered the biggest breakfast for (approx eur) that includes processo, hot beverages, oj, bread, butter, marmelade, nutella. cheese, sausage, fruit choose and scrambled eggs. We were happy with the drinks but the food sounded more than it was. In the end we felt it was pretty average regarding quantity and quality. Will be back to Giornale but rather to try lunch or...

Had dinner with friends last week. It’s a nice environment, very much divided in bar and restaurant. Certainly in summer offers more space with the two verandas. We were wandering through the huge street festival in Munich and wanted somewhere a bit quieter to sit and eat with some shade and spotted Bar Giornale with lots of shady umbrellas. The waiting staff didn't speak any English but we were in an Italian...restaurant in Germany so that's certainly not something we could criticise. We ordered a Caesar salad with prawns, a spaghetti carbonara, a medium beer and a medium glass of wine.
