"It’s an unbiased five star rating as we’ve travelled throughout Europe and there is much to be said about a family run business. They work so much harder than those working for chains. My sister in law, Heidi or her son, Alex, will go daily to pick fresh vegetables, breads and whatever else they need for the restaurant side. The only thing that I’ve seen ever get delivered is the beer and lots of it. Heidi has sacrificed much for the hotel but in her heart, I know she wouldn’t change a thing. My niece, Angela, works along side her mom and brother. Yes, they have chefs but none ever seem to be good enough for the Barb so it is my family who cooks and does so proudly. They don’t need the money, they could walk away today but all the money in the world wouldn’t give them the love and passion they have for the hotel. If each one of us gave 1/10 of what each of them give each and everyday, the world would be a better place."

This is a family run military, children and pet friendly hotel in the Ktown Area... very friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast and food....

We really enjoyed our 17th wedding anniversary lunch at your wonderful restaurant. The food was awesome, super cozy atmosphere and an incredible staff!!

on 23.12 were the first time there and I must say that room was top the personal in restaurant at the reception and also at breakfast buffet were all very nice and accommodating always asked if they still want to eat the prices for room and breakfast I find very in order. we will be coming back

My family and I stayed here for our first night in Germany. It was perfect! The accommodations were extremely clean, comfortable and charming. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was delicious. Our stay here made our first impression of Germany a great one. Thank you! We won't forget you and hope to come back one day!

We stayed in this pet-friendly hotel. The customer service was great and everyone was always friendly. The Restaurant was great too, open for lunch and dinner. We also did a Whiskey Tasting there and it was interesting and fun, 4 course dinner was included! Next year they are adding even a Wine Tasting? When we leave we are going to stay there again. Oh we are also still going on a regular bases to the Restaurant where the staff still remembers us!

this hotel is pet friendly, people friendly, guest friendly and group friendly. we were some weeks in 2016 with our kitty while we were looking for a house in the imperial launder area. the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating in relation to our pet. they showed great care and even recommended a local veterinarian when we had a digestive emergency with our cat. the rooms are clean, there are tw and wlan. The restaurant menu is diverse, the staff (ralf, ewa and alexandra) are very helpful and always professional. we visited guests and employees to feed at this place and they enjoyed all their meals. recommend this location for all travel needs.

at the weekend 27.-29.01 we had the luck with our unit with 38 people in this beautiful hotel. we had 26 rooms, both ez and dz booked. we expected a very friendly check inn with very competent staff. the rooms were all newly renovated and beautifully decorated. there is nothing to complain about in the cleanliness. the service in the hotel was really great, very nice, attentive staff, that even without any problems has received special requests, such as allergy-friendly meals. the rich breakfast in the nice restaurant was very good and also the menu made it easy for us to find something suitable for everyone. we are looking forward to our next visit in barbarossahof
