"After visiting Be a Garden Maker multiple times, we were curious to see how the venue would fare under new management. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were met with a strong smell of rancid chip fat and found ourselves sticking to the sticky table. Cobwebs adorned the sides of the table, making it difficult to peruse the menu. Despite a friendly server taking our order for a latte, flat white, white Americano coffee, and scones with butter, jam, and pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, the drinks were not up to par. The coffees were served in large cups with minimal coffee at the bottom and were splattered all over, resembling a messy toilet. When we requested more milk, the cup was still only half full. The total bill for our order came to £30.25, and while the scones were served warm with jam, butter, and cream (which was not requested), they were stodgy and undercooked, and the cream had a sour taste. The pancakes also had uncooked batter in the center. While we understand that new owners may need time to adjust, there is much room for improvement for this venue. At this time, we do not plan on returning, but we hope that our feedback will help the owners enhance what could be a great establishment."

Stopped on the way back from Settle. Really good Covid19 arrangements. Food was excellent I had the large breakfast (massive portion); everything cooked well and wife had lasagne. Would recommend!

Visited on a Sunday morning for brunch with a couple of friends and my dog. Can't fault it, lovely setting, quality food with plenty of choice and the staff were so friendly. Can't believe I've not been here before, I'll be a regular visitor from now on. Love that they made the dog so welcome too with a bowl of fresh water when we sat down.

The restaurant formerly known as Gardenmakers has been rebranded as Bowland Forest Farm. Intrigued by the change in ownership and recent renovations, we decided to dine here. It was a fantastic choice! The food was the best we've had in years, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was stylish and comfortable. Absolutely fabulous! View menu

I went with some friends for a get-together and what a delightful location. We sat outside surrounded by flowers. We ordered some sharing platters and they were delicious, well-priced, and we were very satisfied when we left. We will definitely be coming back regularly. We chatted with the new owners and they have some exciting plans for this establishment.

Didn't visit the garden plant side of this premise but the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Superb! Other items available on the menu too along with a specials board. Staff very friendly indeed, service quick and food varied and piping hot. Excellent value for money and beautiful countryside to drive through to get there. Considerate of covid safety

Nectar Cafe at this little Garden Centre is superb. Friendly, welcoming staff and spacious seating areas both inside and out. Lovely hone cooked food, all day breakfasts and three mixed platters as well as usual sandwiches. I had a special, hot shredded beef sandwich which was fantastic. Even a biscuit for the dog (he would have preferred a sandwich of his own maybe next time! . I will be back

We drove through the beautiful countryside full of autumn colours and twisty lanes. We were greeted by a really friendly lady who talked us through the menu and specials board. All three meals were absolutely delicious, we couldn’t fault them. Tasty. Beautifully presented and a generous amount without being overwhelming. My husband was full of praise for the chips in a flower pot). Some of the best he’s ever had. We looked around the garden centre and there’s lots of lovely things but as we’re on holiday with limited room we sadly didn’t buy anything. We will definitely return.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
