"my friend and I went on Sunday October in this restaurant. we ordered a paella with fish asking whether it was already made or whether it was fresh. the waiter told us it was absolutely fresh. When the plate arrived, I noticed that it was cooked in many times and not really in the paella the fish was old and you could notice it from the taste of the garnel and muddling. of course it was already prepared and it could be that it was frozen with old fish. I told the waiter he told me it was made on German people and I am not the cowardly unfair service. I had a stomachache on the afternoon."

We searched for a Portuguese restaurant in Hamburg and came out by this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and did everything to give us a nice evening. The food was very nice and we enjoyed the night.

I had last spent weeks with my man's family, and we were amazed from the beginning to the end. I don't eat fish, so I had the best chicken dish I ever had in Germany. the wine options were also very nice. but what I am. the friendly and helpful staff. if they are in hamburg and want to taste Portuguese food, this is the place to go.

the first time we are here after the restaurant has been moved. hmmmm. the interior design is very simple, without soft furniture, so very loud. the starters were good, especially the calamari. the main thing, however, was very disappointing. the mixed fish plate I had was fought to death, dry and very hard. we often went to this restaurant, but after the presentation of the last night, we did not shave back.

We came here on the heel of visiting Portugal. Our group ordered grill cod, mussels, seafood rice, and steak. The portions are generous. I tasted the grill cod, mussels, and seafood rice. I did not like the seasoning of the mussels. The cod seems a...bit salty. The seafood rice was on point, as good as the ones I tried in Portugal: plenty of seafood, seasoned well, rice was not too tough. I did not try the steak, but it looks very good.

Since there are many non Portuguese restaurants in the Portuguese Quarter in Hamburg, we paid attention to go to a Portuguese restaurant and were quite satisfied with our choice. Beira-Rio calls itself a fish restaurant, so most of the dishes are based on fish or...mussels. Except for salad there are no vegetarian options, but when I asked them, I received a great dish with mushroom and some kind of potatoe crisps. It tasted good and was plentiful. My colleagues also liked their food. Service was very attentive and nice. For Hamburg standards prices are quite reasonable.
