"Disappointing. The promise of a good brunch was beautiful! Unfortunately the miracle did not take place. Having booked for a brunch at 28€ we are told that there will be no brunch once the aperitif is served. We are presented with the appealing card but with prices, which I find high but that we accept because the dishes seem well served. The Argentine sandwich is a disappointment. Cold and tasteless. Special mention nevertheless to the purée of sweet potatoes! Very good. And what about Get27/Perrier billing €11? A Get27 a Perrier? Too bad! The boss’ welcome was nice. We haven't had a chance."

I don't know. The products served are frozen. The reception is not friendly and the high prices! Anyway, nothing's going!!! We're not coming back. View menu

Nothing in the plate, 28 euros the bread tip and the slice of sausage... I always wait for my apple juice! Bad mood of the pseudo chef and zero professionalism!

Very good food. Peppers stuffed and grilled encornet, then duck, finally baba. Nothing to say again. A nice welcome good service. And June 21, a rock band! All right. And the decor of the room is nice. In summary, very good evening.

A nice couple, a simple and effective cuisine, such is the formula for this restaurant with original decoration. Open late, which is rare in the corner, we ate an excellent kabyle couscous. We enjoyed the arranged rum offered at the end of the meal. View menu

A beautiful discovery, an excellent dinner with a very good boss, very friendly and listening. And one more about me, Pierre and I were known (and recognized this evening) while he was carrying out another activity where he also excelled. It was a pleasure to exchange some memories in addition to having a great evening. We'll be back. Thank you, Pierre.

If you like the eight Normans of the Cotentin, the extra fresh buckles accompanied by a real home sauce you will enjoy. The grilled fish and its butter sauce... a delight! Accompanied with a nice balanced wine is happiness. Rare on St Maur such a freshness. Oh, yes, desserts, chocolate-melting, enjoyable... hearty and too good. the kindness and know-how of the boss in bonus!

"We visited Le Chateau des Iles for dinner on March 30, a drizzly, cool evening in Paris. Our hotel concierge made same-evening reservations for 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night and we took an Uber from our downtown hotel, an approximately 15 minute drive for about the same number on Euros. We arrived at the small dock in the park where a ferry boat continually shuttles guests across the lake to and from the restaurant. The ride is approximately one minute! Upon arrival at the restaurant across the lake, you walk through the lower floor bar and upstairs to the restaurant, a rustic wooden lodge. We were warmly greeted on the porch by a large goose who quacked a welcome and shook his tail feathers as we hurried into the warmth of the restaurant. Inside, the hostess seated us quickly and chatted with us about her recent trip to the U.S. and Savannah, one of our favorite cities. Our waiter had just returned from Miami and was eager to share. All servers were friendly and helpful. Our hostess spoke fluent English and was very helpful with explanations of menu items as needed. The menu consisted of several fresh fish dishes- cod, bream, sole and sea bass. In addition, there were steak dishes as well as chicken. When asked about other seafood, like shrimp or scallops, we were told that the "crispy" (fried) shrimp could be ordered as an appetizer or dinner item. Two of our party ordered the sea bass with black rice and one ordered "steak tartare raw cooked" meaning it was cooked to order rather than the usual raw and was served with a cone of fries. Both were delicious and we ate every morsel. The portions were just the right amount, not skimpy and not overwhelmingly large. For dessert, we ordered "profiteroles" or cream puffs with ice cream scoops. There were three of each and just the right amount for three of us to share and finish off a lovely evening. The restaurant was being enjoyed by couples as well as larger groups. Overall, a very mixed crowd of diners. There was no outdoor seating on this evening due to the weather but I am sure that it would be a lovely spot on a clear day or evening. There is a large terrace suitable for enjoying a before or after dinner drink and for soaking in the view of the lake and surrounding park setting. Our total for three entrees with a glass of wine and two beers was approximately 117 euros. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant while in Paris."
