"We visited Le Chateau des Iles for dinner on March 30, a drizzly, cool evening in Paris. Our hotel concierge made same-evening reservations for 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night and we took an Uber from our downtown hotel, an approximately 15 minute drive for about the same number on Euros. We arrived at the small dock in the park where a ferry boat continually shuttles guests across the lake to and from the restaurant. The ride is approximately one minute! Upon arrival at the restaurant across the lake, you walk through the lower floor bar and upstairs to the restaurant, a rustic wooden lodge. We were warmly greeted on the porch by a large goose who quacked a welcome and shook his tail feathers as we hurried into the warmth of the restaurant. Inside, the hostess seated us quickly and chatted with us about her recent trip to the U.S. and Savannah, one of our favorite cities. Our waiter had just returned from Miami and was eager to share. All servers were friendly and helpful. Our hostess spoke fluent English and was very helpful with explanations of menu items as needed. The menu consisted of several fresh fish dishes- cod, bream, sole and sea bass. In addition, there were steak dishes as well as chicken. When asked about other seafood, like shrimp or scallops, we were told that the "crispy" (fried) shrimp could be ordered as an appetizer or dinner item. Two of our party ordered the sea bass with black rice and one ordered "steak tartare raw cooked" meaning it was cooked to order rather than the usual raw and was served with a cone of fries. Both were delicious and we ate every morsel. The portions were just the right amount, not skimpy and not overwhelmingly large. For dessert, we ordered "profiteroles" or cream puffs with ice cream scoops. There were three of each and just the right amount for three of us to share and finish off a lovely evening. The restaurant was being enjoyed by couples as well as larger groups. Overall, a very mixed crowd of diners. There was no outdoor seating on this evening due to the weather but I am sure that it would be a lovely spot on a clear day or evening. There is a large terrace suitable for enjoying a before or after dinner drink and for soaking in the view of the lake and surrounding park setting. Our total for three entrees with a glass of wine and two beers was approximately 117 euros. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant while in Paris."

This hotel has great staff, quite basic rooms, but a fantastic restaurant. It offers extremely good value both for the room and breakfast, and a very reasonable but quality restaurant. The wines are great as well.

We had a group dinner here in March 2017, and it's a really great restaurant to have dinner!Situated next to the river, and so it offers a sense of tranquility and away from the hectic of Paris. The food and service is top notch, and i highly recommend this place!

The diner here is of very good quality. Perhaps too much mushrooms "cream"(we preffer the real mushrooms) but quality of the veal, and the cauliflower cream are exceptional. Desserts in lower quality than the appetizerrs and entrées, cheese plate exceptional. Very good winelist. Highly recommanded

I have just been for lunch at this restaurant and also went there 18 months ago. It is in a beautiful location on the edge of the river Marne and you feel that you almost be in rural France. The service was excellent and the food was good (not great) but it was a wonderful experience. I did not pay either time but I suspect it is quite expensive.

My sister was visiting us so for our last night we decided to go for a special meal and had heard a lot about this place. We got a table on the terrace and we were not disappointed. The menu and the wines recommended by the sommelier were impeccable. My sister worked in the T&E industry for years specialising in 4-5 star hotels and even she was bowled over. The food was extremely fresh, the execution impeccable and yet very inventive. The prices as well were astounding; in Paris you would pay at least double for the same quality. The service was superb and very friendly. We were the first to arrive and yet the last to leave; so much so that the landlord actually gave us a lift home as they c...

Having seen the restaurant on trip adviser (with good reviews) my colleagues & I thought we would give it a try. We had never heard of the restaurant and was a little apprehensive as to what to expect, some of the restaurants in the suburbs of Paris are literally in the suburbs. The area appears quite affluent as you drive down the riverside. When we arrived, we were not disappointed . it was an experience that we all will tell all our friends & colleagues. The food was cooked beautifully with a wide selection and differing types of menu's everything your taste buds need for a fantastic culinary adventure. An excellent bottle of White delivered on taste and fully complimented the meal. The s...

"rare are the mixed experiences of restoration, feeling shot between good and at least good, it is to note that at osteria this was the case. a restaurant ideally located, close to the royal palace cinema and in a bustling and pleasant nogent street. clean, spacious and bright spaces. So far, everything's fine. and there you are installed and you are given the card, finally the card, a simple folded a3 slip so that it can be assimilated to a real menu type card. This leaf on which the entrances, dishes and loosens of the restaurant completely devalues the choice of the kitchen. What a failure to offer its customers such a fade and unreleased support so that they can make their choice! Moreover, the font is ridiculously small, not to mention the prices that are published in a light grey color on a white background that makes it difficult to decipher the prices of the dishes (they are themselves indicated in black). prices, let's talk about wingers, are excessive and in the high-end range of average prices for an Italian restaurant. are they justified by the quality of the dishes? Clearly no! If salmon pizza and linguine pates are good and acceptable, they are not excepional either. I mean desserts. standardize a lemon pie, a chocolate fudge (basic quality), a hazelnut cake and ice cream is simply exaggerated. As for the staff in the room, sympathy capital is very heterogeneous, the blond-dyed hair server has proven to be available and courteous, one cannot say the same thing as his colleagues. To conclude, a restaurant that will delight those who have full pockets and who wish to eat properly, the price quality ratio is clearly deconvenible. I won't go back."
