Bell's Diner & Bar Rooms

I've wanted to to go to Bell's for a long time, so I was extremely excited when me and 13 others decided to go for NYE.

We went to Bell's for New Year's Eve and I can't wait to go back! Picton street is lovely and the outside of Bell's looks cosy and inviting.

Tapas style dining. Small dishes and each with exquisite flavours. The great thing is that between 2 you can sensibly sample 6 different dishes. Accompanied by very reasonably priced wine list

The location is unbelievable. In the students quarters and missed by the Navi. Had to call to get exact location. Parking not easy and I'll use Uber next time. The food is outstanding and the service excellent, My companion and I just loved it. Unusual...menu and everything is worth a try.

whenever I have a great meal in a restaurant with basic decor somewhere fun, but functional like the apollo banana leaf, maybe, or the community and strip lighting of silk road I think how extremely unimportant things are like interior architecture, and what a waste of time and money. give me simply a plate of house style carving and lammskewers and whoever the toilets are is it about eating, sure?

visited for my mother's 59th birthday- the restaurant is nice, comfortable and casual and the servier staff was attentive and relaxed. it's just a shame that eating was hit and missed. my rabbit was blande, the torbay sole was in a pleasant... sauce that smeared every other taste, the cured aubergine was exquisite, the bratkartoffeln were incredible and the ochsenwange was overcooked. pleasant, but not sure we will visit again.

my son has booked our table here when he visited us with his partner from london. our greeting was friendly and we were shown on our table. I was initially somewhat confused by the menu until I realized it was based on tapas. the prizes made sense. our waiter explained how it worked and recommended for the four of us we had 9 or 10 items we did. my sohn is vegan and the restaurant was not the least intrigued. several dishes, including a chickpea tagine, which is not on the menu. We all tried it and it was excellent as all other dishes, vegetarian or other.
