during the service was fantastic, I think the portions could have been a bit bigger than the price. my own and my partner paid 75 pounds for dinner.

Tapas style dining. Small dishes and each with exquisite flavours. The great thing is that between 2 you can sensibly sample 6 different dishes. Accompanied by very reasonably priced wine list

The location is unbelievable. In the students quarters and missed by the Navi. Had to call to get exact location. Parking not easy and I'll use Uber next time. The food is outstanding and the service excellent, My companion and I just loved it. Unusual...menu and everything is worth a try.

Post birthday celebration here was lovely. Lots of interesting small plates on offer and great ice cream to finish. Interesting drinks menu too with a small selection of off beat wines. The dining rooms are nice too with a scruffy old record player in the...corner. Another top Bristol restaurant.

visited for my mother's 59th birthday- the restaurant is nice, comfortable and casual and the servier staff was attentive and relaxed. it's just a shame that eating was hit and missed. my rabbit was blande, the torbay sole was in a pleasant... sauce that smeared every other taste, the cured aubergine was exquisite, the bratkartoffeln were incredible and the ochsenwange was overcooked. pleasant, but not sure we will visit again.

I debated how many stars to give as the food was really nice. We enjoyed everything we ordered. But the service is shockingly poor. We asked the waiter who was pleasant about an ingredient in our dish and he did not know and had to...find out. We had to ask for more water, we had to try and catch the attention of staff to get the bill. When the bill arrived and we wanted to pay staff were having a drink so had to get up to ask them to come over. Such a shame as the food is lovely and not cheap, but the poor service let’s down the whole experience. Maybe front of staff should go on a course?

We were not great customers for this restaurant I had to change our booking from 5 people to 3 as 2 of our friends couldn't make it, and then I had to phone to let them know we would be 15 minutes late as...we were stuck in traffic! In spite of this the staff were really friendly, and there were no problems with the changes to our booking. There was a good selection of drinks available, especially a nice variety of the traditional accompaniments to tapas, gin and sherry. my son has booked our table here when he visited us with his partner from london. our greeting was friendly and we were shown on our table. I was initially somewhat confused by the menu until I realized it was based on tapas. the prizes made sense. our waiter explained how it worked and recommended for the four of us we had 9 or 10 items we did. my sohn is vegan and the restaurant was not the least intrigued. several dishes, including a chickpea tagine, which is not on the menu.
