"Food as good as last time i visit but i have a new tip for you ... i just discover that it will cost 39€/person just to eat there. I thought if you only go up to eat there is a smaller amount than a...normal ski-pass and i was right BUT its almost as a regular day ski-pass. We paid 78€ only to use the gondola to go up and down. Stuff was ok, my waiter didn’t know the basic about serving a bottle of wine. He show it to my and went straight to decant without me tasting it or ask for decant ... i don’t event mention the cork whereabouts : Reservation works only online cause nobody reply the telephone on website. It cost a min of 50€ to reserve (will be deducted from total . Since you can only eat at 12 and 14 ... you can ski for few hours and then you must rush up to it. So to make the most of your day just have a full day ski-pass. There are better/ as good restaurants in town and 78€ is a good bottle on wine :"

View menu

We have booked a table for 7 on the 1th of January. As you can reach it only by cable car we had a time slot to respect. When we got at the location at exactly 2 PM the table was not ready. We had...to wait for 15 min untul we could go to our seats. The service was the week point of this beautiful location. Hard to believe but truth. With overwhelmed waiters, wich hardly understands german or english the food was served like in a canteen. Pity because the expectation where much higher as you pay 40 € person only to reach.

"Our trip to Gusto was a truly transportative experience. Upon arriving at our table a round one set within decorative rock features that evoked the great Colosseum of Ancient Rome our waiter informed us that it was not the gladiators of that famous...amphitheatre that give the table it's nickname, but in fact another Italian of much more recent infamy the fictional Chicago gangster Al Capone. What a thrill it would be to imagine for a moment that the table was given it's name because one of Capone's brutal hit jobs akin to the St Valentine's day massacre had occurred at said table. Alas, the amusing moniker was actually given due to the staff's tendency to partake in a spot of poker at this table during recent lockdowns. If you'll forgive my brief tangential foray into Ancient Rome and prohibition-era Chicago, I'll now move on to the review proper. First let us address some of the delightful quirks that make Gusto such a unique experience. For instance, the tendency for beers to arrive with an irregularity of head that makes each round an exciting lottery to see who would receive the most head (cunning linguists may equate this to a similar imbalance in many a couple's household am I right Secondly, the garlic bread is patterned with a range of bubbles within the dough that is surely a deliberate nod to the surrounding alpine landscape by the no-doubt exceedingly talented chef. And thirdly, the small static shocks delivered by the railings en route to the toilets serve to keep us customers on our toes and alert so that we can properly appreciate the majesty of the toilets themselves, for they are truly fit for a king or indeed a filthy rich gentlemen such as our friend Al Capone himself. Now on to the food itself. Whether you are looking for a delicious pasta or a pizza large enough to cover a manhole, you're sure to find what you need with the help of the wonderfully friendly and helpful waiting staff who are on hand to offer advice and assistance for those of the indecisive persuasion. You will also receive a range of sauces to suit every taste, including a chilli oil hot as dragonfire to warm your cockles after a cold windy day on the slopes. Now if you'll indulge me a little while longer, I'd like to end this review with some poker references as a tribute to the Al Capone table that we dined upon. Gusto is not three or four of a kind but one of a kind and you are sure to encounter a Full House of satisfied diners. To avoid regrets, be sure to visit the toilets for a Royal Flush fit for a king."
