"Never one to turn down a for offer on a course meal, we visited on a Saturday night and found a lively atmosphere.I had calamari as a starter, very well cooked and not too filling with courses to face. My wife had camembert wedges lovely and gooey and the cranberry sauce was a great accompaniment. For a change I tried Paella as my main course it was piping hot, almost too hot ti eat. The mussels were small but juicy and tasty but the squid wasn’t as nice as the starter. I would have liked the rice to have more liquid and some extra spice. My wufe had the peri peri chicken and chorizo hanging kebab and I think she made a better choice. There were big chunks of juicy chicken mixed in with vegetables. For dessert I had a luscious chocolate brownie sundae although I’m sure the calorie count was high, it still felt light and creamy. My wife had a very rich warm chocolate brownie.Total bill including drinks after our discount was was our visit and we’ve enjoyed it on each occasion."

Excellent service, so kind and caring. Food was really good too. We really enjoyed our meal and plan to return as soon as possible to try out different options on the extensive and varied menu.

Back again for birthday evening. Always great food at Egos and friendly staff. We both had the fish which was lovely washed down with a very competitive priced bottle of white wine. Will be back again soon

The restaurant was clean and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The food was delicious, although it took a bit longer than expected. Joshua provided excellent service. Overall, the staff seemed to be much friendlier compared to our last visit, which was about a year ago. View menu

Went on Thursday. Lovely new menu, lovely welcome . Relaxing atmosphere and pleasant staff. The service was at a good pace , no rushing us. The quality of food was good. I just don’t understand why you have put wine prices up so much . People just won’t order as many . I certainly won’t be buying anymore . But anyway thoroughly enjoyed the meal .

Very disappointed. Soup, although tasty was tepid and had to be reheated. Chicken Supreme was warm, chicken sat on top of a very dry, stodgy pommel puree mixed with what seemed to be carrot and undercooked rice. No sign of mustard cream sauce or green beans. Coffee after meal was also tepid, however the second cup was perfect. We dine here every couple of months but will be not be going back. Staff forgot that meal was ordered on Prix Fixe menu but did reduce bill by 20%.

I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, I hadn’t really looked at the wine list , there were 2 on there. I wasn’t asked which one and consequently was given the more expensive one £12.50 absolutely overpriced. Food was ok, I had chicken which was very dry, and my partner ordered the pork which was nice but it was brought out a good 5 minutes before his dauphinois potatoes which they apologised for and said, they weren’t quite ready! The waitress was very inexperienced and clearly not very happy in her job. Not a smile or a bit of conversation. Don’t think we will be back. View menu

One of our regular haunts, we love the staff and the service. On the odd occasion that something is wrong, the staff are really helpful and resolve it to the best of their abilities. The food is delicious, I have not had a bad meal from them. The staff go above and beyond, I loved the halloumi with mojo rojo but it eventually got changed on the menu to another dip instead. For months after, they still brought it me with the original dip. It’s that kind of service that makes you want to keep going back. The manager once gave me an off-menu cocktail to try as well. I think we’ve nearly sat at every table in the restaurant.

Arrived to be told our table wasn 't ready. Waited over half an hour before it was. Food was OK but nothing special for the price. We waited so long between each course and one of the waitresses looked in a permanent mood. We were then told they had ran out of roast potatoes . This was 3pm Sunday lunch! Not offered anything else to compensate, so we had meat and veg despite paying for potatoes. My sister paid for 8 of us to go at near £25 each plus drinks bill came to over £300. My sister paid and left a tip just to be polite. If you can afford 2 hours plus waiting time of around 40 minutes between plates being cleared for a three course meal, then go, but for us we won 't be rushing back. C...

"Exploring the outskirts of Leeds led me to discover the gem that is Corarima, a gluten free, vegan haven in Wakefield. As someone currently navigating a gluten free journey, stumbling upon this Abyssinian vegan/gluten free restaurant was a true delight. Opting for the combination platter for two was a journey through a sensory layer cake a symphony of tastes and smells expertly presented. We embraced the experience, relishing the deliciousness with our hands, a practice met with the owner's delighted approval. The host, a charming and attentive soul, took us on a culinary tour, passionately detailing each dish. He was so warm, Friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The decor added to the warmth, creating a homely ambiance that made this dining experience extraordinary. In the realm of UK dining, Corarima has secured its spot among our favorites. It's more than a restaurant; it's a rare and complete experience, a testament to the charm and authenticity of Abyssinian cuisine. I wish we lived closer as we’d visit regularly for sure! Dietary restrictions: I’ve recently had to go gluten free whilst also being vegan so it was wonderful to relax knowing that the menu was accommodating of my dietary requirements Kid friendliness: Whilst we were dining a family arrived with a young baby and the host was so charming and attentive with the baby. Engaging with the baby as if it was any other diner (even offering to take his order)!"
