"We reserved a booth but ended up not getting one. The service was incredibly lacking; not once did anyone come to our table without us having to shout or chase them down for attention, which often took a long time! We ordered desserts three times, and they eventually gave them to us for free because, for some reason, our order was never put in. On a positive note, the setting was lovely and the food was good. I'm hoping this was just a one-time issue, as I've been there several times before and had decent service."

Black Horse Beamish is in a beautiful countryside setting. We've eaten here before and the food quality and service was very good as always.

Food was really nice , visited here a lot but service was very very slow yesterday and staff less friendly just seemed to have lost its lovely friendly pub feel shame when food so good .

Friendly staff, nice relaxing place to eat, service on the day was very slow nearly finished drinks before food arrived. Food was delicious. I really enjoyed to cumbrian sausage ring with mash and onion gravy. Partner enjoyed lamb rump but didn't enjoy to creamed chard. Child enjoyed the fish bites, fries, and loved the garden peas. Then enjoyed a play in the park area.

Absolutely shocking service. Took 30 minutes for drinks to arrive and only did as we chased. We had to ask to order food, weren’t offered a dessert menu and our chairs were removed from the table before we were finished. Also our 3 year old sons meal was undercooked. Sausages were raw in the middle and no alternative provided. Absolutely ruined our family anniversary meal
