Been going to the Hobson for years lovely staff and tasty home cooked food would recommend

This is a fantastic local pub with excellent food and friendly staff. It's a must-visit and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Visited today. Lovely food, wide choice, great portions. Staff were so helpful and friendly and looked after us so well. Even offered to put a meal back to keep warm while we fed my disabled son. Thank you.

we did it regularly and never had a bad meal yet eating is fantastically always a lot and the monday delusion is good the money full teller for less than 3 pounds they must try to eat there at least all 2 weeks. the personal gives them a great service and all the possibilities to draw attention. For every family meal or special occasion, we always choose the Hobson. The staff is friendly, and the food is exquisite. We recently had a gathering of 24, and everything went perfectly; not a single issue arose. The bar staff even treated me to a drink for my 30th birthday. I highly recommend this place!

I had the best Sunday dinner I've had in a long time (aside from my own cooking). My sister and I visited this Sunday, and we were warmly welcomed by all the staff. We both ordered the roast beef, which was so tender that it fell apart easily when we cut into it. All the vegetables were fresh, not frozen, and we enjoyed potatoes, fried potatoes, carrots, cabbage, turnips, and a huge homemade Yorkshire pudding. Everything was delicious, and we will definitely return with the whole family!

had the most beautiful meal here today with my mam, 2 courses for the incredible price of £6.95 we were ready to feel welcome when we went through the door. we both chose Steak Piee, which was just beautiful. jam filled with melt in mouth meat, served with domestic chips and plucked. then we were presented with a side of veg and a gravy boot! unnecessary to say that we fought for it. then on a cap I decided for the crumb apple crumb with custard and mam the pineapples on the cake. kriech, huge portions, but tasty. beautiful eating, beautiful staff, really recommend.
