Great, family-friendly atmosphere. Great fresh food. Quick service, reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent chip shop meal. Will definitely be coming back!!

This has to be one of the worst chips shops I’ve been to. The chips were strange, the fish full of bones, the batter strange coloured and tasting. Even the ketchup was awful so didn’t save what was a terrible waste of money.

What a wonderful traditional menu. great place for a cuppa, great fish, and all the mushy peas and brown sauce you can want (amazing to an American). Clean, good service, exactly what we needed after a morning of touring and gawking. View menu

Got served over fried bread with a bit of cheese as tomato cheese pizza. Coffee was expensive for the quality served. Next time I want to get facked I'll just my missus to burn me some toast, save a bit of money. Atmosphere was nice though!

The worst fish and chips I've ever had. Chips were not cooked enough, white as the fish and soggy. The batter tasted artificial. We were out all day, so really hungry when we got there. What a dissapintment. To top it up, we ordered apple juice and some cans of fizzy drinks. Our juices arrived in tiniest plastic glasses possible. Kids size! I was expecting a proper sized glass. It's was the worst experience ever.

Went for a takeaway after leaving the Albert Halls and it was quiet except for a guy and girl working behind the counter. I looked at the hot plate and there was the usual sorry dried out looking mains on show ..black pudding, king rib,or chipsteak,steak pies etc . My wife ordered a pizza crunch I opted for a steak pie supper...after 15 mins we went to the car to eat our late dinner. The chips were dried out shrivelled away sorry looking things...there was a lot and steak pie was ok but fell to bits as the pastry had been under the hot lamp for god knows how many hours!
