"Went to The Boars Head for Sunday lunch and the whole experience was great. Immediately glad we had booked as pretty much every table was packed. We were seated promptly and from then on the service was attentive and courteous. Food quality was excellent and quantity just right. Various roasts are given centre stage on the Sunday menu but fish dishes and vegetarian options are available, backed up with a good selection of starters, sharing platters and desserts. Wine, beer and soft drinks are varied and well presented. Although not the cheapest place around Horsham, the cost is comparable with other establishments and reflects the quality on offer. Well worth the final bill. In all a fine lunch and afternoon out. Many thanks to the hard working staff."

We visited today for lunch and were blown away by the quality of the food. The service is excellent and the lunch time time deal is great value considering the quality we received. Thank you to the kitchen staff and front of house, you are all amazing!!

We went for Sunday and we’re not disappointed. The roast lamb was superb and could not fault the food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Sadly as a wheelchair user I will be unable to return as the access was not good and no disabled toilet. It’s a shame as everything else exceeded our expectations.

We visited this restaurant for an early dinner with our 2-year-old and the service was exceptional. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and engaging with our daughter. The food was delicious and served promptly. It was quiet, but it was early (around 3:30/4pm). We would gladly return for another family meal. View menu

We had dinner at this restaurant on our way to Gatwick airport. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. My daughter accidentally left her AirPods behind, but we called Matthew who kindly offered to mail them to us in Norway. It's rare to find such exceptional customer service these days. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We have eaten here for several years both before and after the change of management and although the menu has changed the choice of dishes is varied and very tasty, especially the Sunday roasts that are always excellent. The service is always friendly and welcoming with varied range of excellent cocktails and wine list. Thank you Umut and team for such good food and looking forward to our next visit. Sue Mike

I've driven past this pub for years. While looking for somewhere to go for dinner I noticed the good reviews and thought , why not. First appearance, a nice cosy pub with restaurant attached. Not a huge menu but what we had was very tasty, well cooked and a good portion a little too big really as we couldn't manage a dessert. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was served in a timely manner at a perfectly reasonable price. We will be back. View menu

Looking for a bite to eat after a cricket match in the area. Arrived around 8pm on a Wednesday evening, diners were eating but there were a few spare tables. The four of us ordered two belly porks, a burger and the pulled pork nachos, with a selection of fries. On arrival all the items were well presented, hot and very tasty. Given we had no prior knowledge of the venue we were very pleasantly surprised with the fare. With a drink each it was under £20 a head, good value for good quality.

I recently visited this restaurant and was incredibly disappointed. Prior to Covid, it was one of the best places in Horsham for food. However, under its new management, I would not recommend it. They had no beer available as all the pumps were off, so I had to settle for lager. My dish was supposed to come with black pudding, but it was served as tiny, burnt pieces that were inedible. The wine gravy was dried up and smeared across the plate, and the green vegetables were undercooked and raw. When I brought these issues to the manager's attention, they simply shrugged and walked away.

"Service: 11/10 Starter: Calamari Duck Parfait - 10/10 Main Course 1: 50-Day Aged Fillet Mignon with Bordelaise Sauce (cooked *Blue*) - 100/10 Main Course 2: Fish and Chips - 9/10 Dessert: Hot Brownie - Over 9000! I want to extend my thanks to the front-of-house team for their warm welcome. Although we arrived a bit late, they were incredibly accommodating. Special thanks to Irvana (I hope I spelled that correctly) for providing excellent service! My steak experience took me on a nostalgic journey—like Anton Ego savoring his ratatouille in Gusto’s restaurant. It reminded me of a family meal in Holland during my childhood, where I had my first real steak. This may have even surpassed that memory! I was initially hesitant about dining at Miller and Carter since it's a chain restaurant, but if you're feeling the same way, let me assure you: don't be. While it may not be the cheapest option, it definitely deserves a smart-casual dress code that anyone who understands proper dining etiquette should respect. Curious, I browsed through other reviews, and I found it hard to believe anyone could leave a 1-star review without sounding like a “Karen.” It’s important to take reviews with a grain of salt—this is truly a fantastic restaurant! In summary, if you're a fan of steak, this place will take great care of you and provide excellent recommendations for how to enjoy your meal just the way you like it. Perfect!"
