"We didn’t know the area and this was first place to eat once passed the cliff Pavillion. It’s a diner not a restaurant with a bar. In fact first impression is ‘pub’ with food. Food was home cooked and usual diner food eg homemade burgers- fish and chips- lasagne. It’s a place that fills the hunger hole with no frills and prepares you for theatre fun. Service is good. For me the seating let it down- literally sitting next to (on top of) people so quite unnerving! Not sure I will go again unless can have a table of our own. Not overpriced- recommend going early as busy."

Great place for a pre Cliffs show... Such a friendly atmosphere and the staff were very helpful... Will be going back... If you want to eat I would advise booking a table on a show night as it was nicely busy

stopped for a last meal before a trip to the cliffs pavillion for a show. the bar is pretty busy, so best to come earlier than they need. food quality very good and large portions when they go for the greater load. prices for the situation not too bad, but expect to be around ten pounds for a meal for one.

many employees were friendly and efficient. we had not booked, but they pressed us for a pre-show menu at the cliff pavilion. it was very popular re food and close to the theatre small menu, but a good choice of eating and a small bar area where she could sit before or after her mea. , but not when they're out just drinking)

The waitress was very friendly and took the time to explain the gluten-free options on the menu for my friend. Despite being busy, the service was good. The food was decent, but not exceptional. There is a wide selection of dishes on the menu. It's definitely recommended to dine here before a show at the Cliffs Pavilion, but make sure to make a reservation as it's a popular spot.

We visited this restaurant for a light meal before a show at the Cliffs Pavilion. The food was great, prices were reasonable, and the staff were excellent. I ordered the whitebait as my main course and it was very good. My wife had the homemade lasagna which was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially since there is limited seating while waiting for the doors to open at the Cliffs Pavilion.

This is a great place to eat if you are going to see a show at the Cliff's, there was 5 of us, one has a specific diertary need this was adhered to fully (gluten intolerant) the menu is extensive covers most tastes. I would definitely return as the service, food price were all very good. There is however no disabled toilet, so if you are in a wheelchair with limited mobility, this is not the place for you. Booking is essential as it gets very busy on show nights.

Perfect choice to come here for a meal before going next door to the Cliffs for a concert. And so glad I ignored the few negative reviews as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent nachos to share to start with, followed by beer battered fish chips and mushy peas, with a sneaky side of onion rings. All absolutely delicious Watching other tables get their food makes me want to go back and try some other dishes from the menu. Service was great, both the girls that looked after us were super friendly. Very good value for money.
