We had two fabulous fish pies here great coffee friendly staff very reasonably priced a rare find if you find yourself in Kendal a must visit

A very pleasant café in the town centre but off the main street. Food is well cooked and presented. Toilets are spotless. Highly recommended for families as there is plenty of space.

Having shopped here many times on our visit to the area, we decided to give the café a go for breakfast. Very mediocre at best. Nothing to shout about. Wouldn't be high on the list to return. View menu

We were there plenty of time before stopping serving food. There was one person on the till then we were told no food orders (before the close off time) Really slow service, not enough people serving.

My sister and I went for lunch there 6th March we had a very delicious vegan soup and a a sandwich would have it again it was beautiful we go there regularly the staff are very polite service is always good

My friend and I popped into Kendal to do some shopping and had breakfast here at Booths Cafe. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful, extremely reasonable, and the service was brilliant. We will definitely be coming here again. Thank you. View menu

We've always had really nice meals at kendal called in today me and my husband both went for the fish and chips. The batter was soggy and undercooked I left most of mine as I was worried the fish hadn't been thoroughly cooked. Last time we went the service was brilliant but unfortunately not today

Use this cafe quite often as the service is usually very good the staff are friendly helpful. I am impressed how quickly the tables are cleared cleaned after use The food is good today I had a bacon bun husband had a sausage bun both very tasty nicely cooked we also shared a delicious chocolate brownie

Visited with my daughter for a lunch time snack. I agree with other reviewers that the Service was really slow unnecessarily so in my opinion it was admittedly quite busy but with someone a bit more dynamic behind the counter, I think customers could have been served and sitting a lot quicker to wait for their food (and at least enjoying their drinks). There was an elderly customer ahead of me in the queue with a walking stick. Waiting so long must be difficult for less mobile customers.The lady who brought our food was lovely, with a really positive warm attitude towards customers (so I do not include her in the poor service rating).
