"My wife and I saw this place on the walk to the hotel from the train station. As it was quite late, we chose to give it a try. Dining was outside on a beautiful night by the fountains and town castle (quite impressive). We shared a nice bottle of Nebbiolo and each had a four course tasting meal. Some very unique offerings on our plates. Some we liked, and others like the mustard ice cream did not become new favorites. The prawns my wife ordered were absolutely excellent. My rabbit pasta was good. This approach gives you the chance to try some things you’d probably never order. The check totaled about $100, so not a cheap meal but nicely done. Our server was very good and we appreciated his English. Would definitely recommend."

This place was recommended by the manager at our B&B, and we weren't disappointed. The location next to the castle gives a great view. The menu was not huge but had a non-overwhelming selection of meat, vegetarian and seafood dishes. The bread and breadsticks seemed home made. The calamari was delicious and the steak was too. We had it with a local Prosecco and tiramisu for dessert. Service was excellent and the bill was very affordable. We would definitely go back. They also sell a range of Balocco goodies at the front of the restaurant.
