"london is now so full of new restaurants and the places are literally open under my nose without ever noticeing me. sometimes do not know the next opening from the other does not disturb me in the rule, but if there is one with such a Moorian history and Victorian charm, I feel a little sad that I am so late to play. boyds grill wine bar is relatiw new and is located in the grand hotel am metalgar square. expect a lot of copper, gold and marble – mixed with eclectic pieces of furniture and striking chandeliers hanging throughout the room. we started here with a delicious cocktail at the magnificent bar before we interfere in the dining room. two very different experiences that make this place a place that they really do not have to leave – it has everything."

My husband's says this is 3.8 stars, the food is good, the service was pleasant, the atmosphere is pretty typical of a hotel restaurant at this level. We've eaten all over the world, so I think this is a fair representation.

Lovely place to go for a meal and a drink. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is great too. The staff is very helpful and the place is never very full so it's great if you don't know where to go but want a good meal. They have a great wine selection too. I see a lot of people having dinner here before going to see a show. Highly recommended

a building with inheritance, 8 northumberland avenue was opened in 1897 as a 500 room victoria hotel. Boyd’s grill and wine bar now takes the dining room in the ground floor of the lobby – a magnificent open space with 20ft-high walls, in verde de prato and sanguino marmor. part of the original hotels of isaacs and florenz, architekten by the connaught, the space was updated with a large central bar and decadent chandelier.

Inside, the place is majestic. The walls are marbled, restored to their original period details. Entering the revolving doors into the lobby with high ceilings from which chandeliers not only hang beautifully demanding attention but, at the same time, gently lay a background to the scene. There is a spacious area just for waiting place before the bar and restaurant, in which, you could also entertain yourself to a cocktail drink from the 1920′s style bar.

boyd’s brasserie is a beautiful place to come for a meal, or only for drinks. that is a stylish restaurant and the decoration of the main restaurant is beautiful. this elegance is actually tuned by the entrance, it really feels like they fell into the luxury as soon as they go through the doors. eating here is also well prepared and served in decent portions. from the two places I have dimmed here so far, I had a very positive impression of him and will certainly return as soon as I can find an excuse!

British tapas chicken liver, foie gras parfait, black and sage scotch ei, sliced bark and I can't remember what else. these are just for starters to share small bites. I didn't like foie gras and encourage the people to eat it, but since it's already on the table, I'll just try. it has turned out that it's going well in the did, never knew that foie grass really tasted good. I used to have it in paris and I hated it. I personally like the pâté with brot, fish if I remember correctly. it has a combination of taste in it and it was really good with the cut baguette.
