"Small, nice brasserie located in the heart of Bordeaux city center. Welcoming place. Smiling and friendly staff. This is our first time eating there and it won't be the last. There were four of us and we had the starter-main-dessert formula with the dish of the day: a hearty, excellent veal blanquette and rice pilaf with carrots. As a starter, country terrine, salad and pickles, and a delicious crème brûlée for dessert. Order taking and fast service. You shouldn't arrive late because the rooms were quickly full. Obviously this establishment is frequented by regulars, proof of good cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant if you go to the city center of Bordeaux. At the end of February 2024, return to the Tourny brewery in Bordeaux. Once again.....a treat. I had a salad with two eggs and homemade mayonnaise as a starter, as a main course I had a hamburger with homemade fries and my wife ate the dish of the day.... a beef bourguignon with fresh tagliatelle."

We just happened upon this place after a visit to Jardin Public, ordered the Croque Madame, and it was just perfect! In fact it was so perfect that we went back our last of seven days in Bordeaux, just to eat it again. So my five stars is mainly for the Croque Madame, but also for the friendly staff and the relaxed vibe of this place.
