"We were recommended the restaurant here but discovered on arrival that this was only open in the evenings. However the brasserie was in the same location, presumably run by the same people so we decided to try it. We received a warm welcome by attentive staff but that was the high point. I ordered a glass of wine but had to ask for the glass to be cleaned I gave up with the water glasses and polished them myself with my napkin! The starter of goats cheese, bacon and honey should have been simple and delicious the goats cheese had been melted onto bread and mixed up with salad and unfortunately ended up like something from a fast food restaurant. The steak had some flavour but was very tough. Dessert looked a bit more promising until I found a button in the coulis and that was the last straw and unsurprisingly we decided to ask for the bill wondering what we had already unknowingly eaten. I went to the hotel reception to make the manager aware of our experience while my husband settled the bill. Unfortunately their was no hotel manager available. Interestingly the brasserie only deducted our desserts from the bill. Don't make our mistake the worst meal in France by a long way!"

Delightful views overlooking the resident golf course. This place is an adjunct to the “19th Hole” but it appears a lot of the golfers don’t patronise the place ! Staff friendly. Charcuterie and cheese platter with an excellent rose wine. Superb.

We had a brake in the small village of Margaux. Bought some wine from local merchant and after having been treated badly at Chateau Margaux (they should learn from d'Yqem) came to this perfect outpost down towards Gironde. Nice food perfect setting.

After a golf game (for example because of the golf state), we spent a very good time at the golf brewery table. The dishes were very good, copied and well presented. service was fast and efficient, while being friendly! Maybe it's a little expensive for what we ate. Not anymore!

We had a table that looks out to the lovely golf course. Staff were pleasant and friendly. We shared an excellent tapas. It was very good indeed. We then moved to the beef lasagna and the pasta dish. Both were very well done. The prices were very reasonable given the environment.

If 10 stars existed, I would put them. To fall a chef on the edge of an actor "from there everything begins" for connoisseurs, who make a kitchen. the topsi an adjective was superior to excellence I will use it, presentation, gustative quality, quantity, everything was perfect respect, so young and so talented.

This is a casual relaxed restaurant with indoor outdoor seating. Lunch service were super. Prices were reasonable. I believe this Brasserie is open for lunch early dinner. It is a part of Relais de Margaux where we stayed with a separate access areas (from hotel or golf course). Choose outdoor seating if whether permit.

This is the casual restaurant in the Ralais hotel in Margeaux, France. This restaurant overlooks the golf course and is very nice. The food is the best part. We dined at an odd hour late in the afternoon so the menu was very simple. However, the food was excellent. Take a look at the photos. The service was excellent. The French waiter spoke a little English; however, he tried extremely hard and was very hospitable.

Nice welcome by friendly, albeit quite junior, staff. Good location, right on the golf course overlooking a water feature. Lots of free parking. Interior modern and spotless. Menu quite reasonably priced with good combination offers such as the Birdie which is a main course and coffee for about fourteen euros. The burgers and fries look terrific, but the chef only shows the burger the grill and so they are very rare and won't be to everyone's taste. The salmon and vegetables were very enjoyable. It's a pity they are not open for dinner.
