"A lovely location and building. We sat in the conservatory to the rear of the building, which was light and airy with a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Unfortunately, we don't speak French, but the waitress quickly found another member of staff who spoke English to help answer our questions and take the order. The service was excellent!unobtrusive whilst remaing attentive to our needs. The starter arrived and was very tasty. The main followed promptly. The lamb was lovely. However, the entrecote steak was full of gristle, and much was left uneaten. The beef was tasty and well cooked, but again, some was left due to a very blunt knife that was unable to cut through the meat. Two of us had knives that were too blunt to cut through the meat without considerable effort. The deserts were again delicious. Unfortunately, during most of our meal, we were persistently harassed by flies! This is something that appears to be almost the norm in this region, but not something any of us find acceptable in a restaurant. The price was reasonable given the service and lication at around €200 for 4 adults with a drink each."

"full of positive points, others still need to be improved in an indispensable way. we came to eat two a noon the formula without being copied, the portions are sufficient. dishes were very good, cooking respected, and fries houses especially are excellent. The dishes adapted according to the dishes is very appreciated and modern. midday formula with a good value for money. on the side of the negative points, first of all, frozen products to banish! What a pity to finish a good meal with frozen/smoothed candies in tube bomb/chocolat, while the chef likes what he does, and knows how to do it. We would have preferred something simpler, but home. if it is impossible to produce a dish/dessert home due to frequentation and covid, changing the card would be better. carafe as glasses were all dirty, careful to clean the glassware. Finally, the white wand does not bring anything and gets married to the good terroir dish, something more rustic would be better. in summary, a beautiful small place, with potential and already full of positive points, some improvements to be really perfect in its category."

"lunch with friends) the setting is pleasant with the space between the tables. the server places us and we pass the aperitif command and the chosen menu. the aperitives are served and at the same time the entrances arrive while we haven't started drinking yet. the velvety being hot, we make the remark but it does not seem to touch anyone. After our cold soup, we pass to the consistency dish that arrives in well dried black plates. remarks on the server that takes note and will return to the controller. In short, the meal was very good, but the friendliness of the restaurant manager leaves a little to be desired. I would like to say that I never make a mistake, but that the restaurant takes into account the remarks made on this subject rather than the appearance that it exceeds its ears. courage! you can easily do better with little to improve. Too bad there is no menu on the site."

"Homemade what joy!! A lunch for two after a bike ride, sirloin fries/salad and pizza, nothing to complain about. Salad that doesn't come out of a bag, vinaigrette and homemade fries. Very good pizza, quality ingredients! Simple, very good value for money Good luck to you"

"This is the casual restaurant in the Ralais hotel in Margeaux, France. This restaurant overlooks the golf course and is very nice. The food is the best part. We dined at an odd hour late in the afternoon so the menu was very simple. However, the food was excellent. Take a look at the photos. The service was excellent. The French waiter spoke a little English; however, he tried extremely hard and was very hospitable."
