"In this picturesque medieval town of Yvoire, on the shores of Geneva lake, there is this very nice restaurant Brasserie Les Cygnes. Just as you walk from the port to the town and you start to turn uphill don't miss this one. Food for vegetarians and omnivores, like tartines with bruschetta, cheese and salads or roasted Camembert with caramel and oven potatoes is served with local wine from Haute Savoie such as Crepy, or from other French regions. And if you prefer the beer, the Affligem blonde on draft is a perfect match. If you in couple and ready for lunch, come slightly before 12 o'clock, as we French like to eat at 12. This will allow you find the table for 2 in the perfect spot on the terrace and to admire the view around and of the lake with the clear blue water, the vineyards around Rolle and Fechy and the Jura mountains on the horizon.Service is quick and friendly, just relax and enjoy."

Not very nice service, overpriced breakfast and burgers. Terrace and view are nice, Would not recommend this place.

Great Salade Gascogne with balsamic glazed bacon, smoked duck breast and foie gras, pleasant service, amazing salted caramel ice cream and prices adjusted

Very beautiful brasserie. Wonderful view on the little harbour of Yvoire and very good food. Suggested specially in summer/spring time! Hand made icecream, delicious.

They seem artisanal. Wide range of flavors including the less usual ones. I had chestnuts and it was very good. Worth the detour not only for the ice cteam but for the port view as well.

A good restaurant not extraordinary in terms of food but with a honest brasserie level , and a great terrace allowing to view the sunsets behind the Jura mountain if you go there in the evening. Ices are excellent!

Despite the fact that it is right at the port full of tourists, its elevated position makes it quiet and a bit away from the crowds. Very nice view of the port and lake, helpful young waiters, good salads, tasty and yummy "tartines locales" with melted cheese. Very generous portions and very reasonable prices. Also possible to have just a coctail.

One shower on the boat gives time for a cold one while family queues Don't expect too much and you will be okay. Young happy friendly staff, students I reckon as they were clearly bright and I heard them cope with most languages. Good cold beer and not at marina mark upsFood - did not eat this time but did once in the past and the theme continues "simple and honest "

Came here with the family for lunch. The place was very busy, which may have contributed to the slow service. I guess we were just lucky to get a table. The menu was quite limited - half a dozen salads (of good size) some meat plates and some traditional calzone-like cheese dishes. Surprisingly, there was no fish and the kids meals were burgers with fries and steak with fries. The terrace with views of the lake was very nice and really makes the place worth it. The food is reasonably priced relative to other places in town as well. It was not our first choice, but an pleasant afternoon lunch all in all. Service could be faster and menu a bit larger.

While wandering around Yvoire trying to find somewhere to eat we stumbled upon the brasserie, and at first we sat outside on the main level we were later told that they only serve food up on the second floor. The staff was accommodating though and allowed us , and some other patrons to sit inside on the main level to eat. This was one of the few restaurants who had some English on their menus which isn't a huge deal if you know enough French, but put my wife at ease when picking her meal. Our waitress was nice but was very rushed due to the number of people in the restaurant. The food was good, I wasn't a fan of the beer on tap, so maybe stick with the bottled beers. The food was decent as wel...
