5 of us in bamberg have made a good walk and visited various bars and brewhouses. good selection of beer, friendly people in a traditional place, worth a visit.

had made reservations for the evening, friends came too late and the owner harassed me again and again when they showed up to the point where it felt like she threatened me.

We had lunch in the lovely town of Bamberg Germany. The smoked beer was exceptional and very different. Enjoyed the service, it was very busy but we found room. Very reasonable.

I had dinner there last night. unbelievable pumpkin soup, pork chop great, even though the kartoffel salad was a little strange. excellent service, they even called a taxi for us and notified us when it arrived. herrenpils is my second favorite bamberger bier (faessla is my first.)

group of 6 visited on a 4-day bier hike from bamberg and probably my personal favorite. great eating, wonderful beer and an above average long stay. friendly staff. on the other side of the road of mahs brew, but although at the rande of the city, this is a good opposite for a visit. .

The food was very good and the waitress very attentive. Though the main restaurant parlor was booked, they found us a nice place in the adjoining room. And surprisingly the waitress took good care of us there, too. We tried some of their own brew and we liked it there. Ergo: We could recoomend this place!

6 of us went to dinner there, and what a fabulous meal we had and to round off all this, there was also good beer. they have to book, as it gets full quickly, there is good German food and much of it and a reasonable price. I had the steaksalat, the woman had liver-t bulb salad with bratkartoffel with 2 pt and 1/2 and it came only 40 euro

only a short walk away from the old town and the railway station (along with the busy river, if it is still bright) this brewhouse can sometimes become very full, but fortunately it lies directly opposite the Mahrs brewhouse, so they have the choice between different locations. a good selection of own beers is available, the most popular is the pils, although I prefer something with a little more bit more, like the dark starla beer. authentic eating to be reasonable.

absolutely fantastic eating, although the chairs were very uncomfortable, hard to laugh. we arrived with a 19-clock reservation, make sure they have one, and there was a native with local men at our table. they enjoyed her being together and had no hurry to go. they waved us to themselves and since some had already left their group, 3 chairs were empty, so we sat down and started chatting with them. they were a group of friends who had found themselves together in the course of the years from school, work and community. we three ordered our drinks and our dinner and talked nicely with the two who stayed. they ordered another round and sat down to us. germany is one of the places where one sh...
