"Went here on a Friday night, When booking they were struggling to fit us in, so we went a little earlier. There were 3 of us and the dog. We were seated in a very nice courtyard to the rear which suited us perfectly. We promptly ordered our drinks which arrived in good time. We ordered a couple of cheesy garlic ciabattas as a starter which took around 10-15 minutes. They were brilliant!! loads of cheese and 2 were more than enough for the 3 of us. My wife had the Hunters Chicken and I had the Peppered Pork from the specials board, both with chunky chips and salad. My daughter had the Chicken and fries from the main menu. The slaw was amazing!! All 3 meals were beautifully presented and delicious. The portion size was fantastic. Our bill was less than £50 which represented very good value for money. We were in, fed and watered in an hour. The only problem was, we found The Queens on the last day of our holiday otherwise we'd have gone back again. Best place we ate at all holiday."

"1st visit...Had a lot of expectation, and it almost made 5 stars. I know that the waiting staff have a difficult task, but a smile, and good of response to questions go a long way. My son asked a male waiter a question around the menu and was given a very curt response. It had taken me a while to encourage him to ask himself, and this single bad reply really upset him. Other than that, good food and atmosphere."

"We stopped by for breakfast at this restaurant while staying at the nearby campsite. The service was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast, although we found it unusual to be served bread and butter instead of toast with the full English. The prices were reasonable compared to other places. We appreciated how dog-friendly the restaurant was, even though we no longer have a dog. They also had an outdoor hut serving drinks and ice creams with a seating area, although unfortunately it was raining heavily on the day we visited."

"All those who new the gem that was once the Ocean bar with its cosy old world pub style lounge full of Character excellent service, fantastic atmosphere, cosy lighting and great entertainment must feel as sad as myself my friends and family at the way this place has been altered. The horrible bright lights, the clinical look and not even any Acknowledgement from a staff member until we asked how we get a drink (which appeared to be only available via a app) not even any background music when other nearby pubs were buzzing with live entertainment. Desperate to love this place again but a lot needs to change. Thankfully the lovely sea views from the excellent gardens are still to be enjoyed and the outside bar is a bonus when it’s open. Let’s hope things look up and some of the regular faces might return."

"The food was outstanding; we loved every bite and even requested a takeaway box to savor the leftovers later. The service was exceptional; you could feel the camaraderie among the team, which helped ensure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, making the whole experience even better. While I didn’t catch everyone's names, I do want to give a special shoutout to one of the amazing servers, Alex. Huge thanks to the entire team for their fantastic service and delicious food, which really capped off our vacation on a high note. We will definitely return and will be recommending this place to our friends and family!"
