"Brera Riverside used to be a coffee bar which did snacks but after closing for some months it has re-opened as a restaurant, open til 8 weekdays and later on Saturdays. We used to love coming for coffee, especially as it had tables outside overlooking the river and we hope that we will be able to still do this when the weather warms up. Our food on 26 January was good rather than very good, and rather pricey for what was on offer (quite a limited menu of typical Italian fare. As someone who has to avoid gluten I struggled a bit. Service was very slow, we waited 45 minutes for the starters, which were both cold dishes. This is not really acceptable. However, we managed to order an aperitif and some wine before the place filled up and so had something to drink while we waited. Basically, they need more staff and we wondered if the kitchen is big enough for the number of covers. It was not full, and they were struggling. Would I go back? I think we'd give them another chance, as we live locally."

I had avocado toast from the breakfast menu. it was really nice. the service was indifferent and detached, and the price seemed very high.

We never even ate here. We waited for someone to take us to the table we had book for may be 5 to 10 mins. We asked. Nobody to help. Awfull.

Service was poor and slow even when only two tables were seated in the restaurant. Two people in my party were served cold and undercooked poached eggs, and the rye toast was hard. Coffee order was incorrect initially. A really bad experience.

Walked in realise its more like a cafe than restaurant. 5 mins before we were served a table another 10-15 mins before staff gave us menu. Food wasn't value for money. Portion was small. There was no bad experience overall but too pricy for what it is.

Very limited menu not much choice of food to choose from. Some food were sold out. The price of food is very overpriced (e.g. Lamb shank with no sides costing £19.00) Not a great atmosphere. We had a lovely late lunch and the best ever lattes and ambience to suit! I don’t believe I have tasted anything so beautifully created and the presentation was stunning! Service was great, it was a busy Saturday and the staff remained calm and professional, with excellent service. Both Eden and Alison were superb! I’ll definitely be back! :

beautiful coffee shop with tasty baked but the personal was simply not with it! not very on food allergies, since my daughter was worried about her mother allergy. the waitress was really not that helpful. waited old for our pastries and longer for cutlery, which should really be given to us before eating at the end my daughter had to stand up and find her herself. service was not great.
