"Caroline was amazing, she was ever so kind and made sure we got settled in straight away. The room was lovely, had all the essentials and we liked how they’d specified in the welcome book where they’d purchased some of the soft furnishings from other small businesses. Perfect location for a countryside get away, quiet but enough shops, pubs and restaurants to keep you occupied. The only thing we regretted was that we didn’t make time to have lunch here in the Bridge House because if the breakfast was anything to go by, I bet their lunches would be delicious! PS they are great if you have any dietary restrictions. Would highly recommend."

Lovely, cozy place, more of a cafe. They have wonderful brownies, scones, coffee and tea, and the pear tart was amazing. Gorgeous fireplace to sit by, and the staff are nice too.

The most wonderful place to stay. Homemade scones on arrival, beautifully appointed clean rooms, amazing breakfasts (including homemade sugar free Granola that was so good, we bought some! and such lovely owners. We can’t wait to go back! View menu

We had a wonderful nights stay. Comfy bed with high end bedding gave us a great nights sleep. Premises were spotlessly clean with lovely host. Breakfast was great too. Good location with a large car park opposite. Would definitely stay again.

Called in at Sunday lunchtime, they were fully booked for lunch, but we as we only wanted coffee and cake, we were led to the lovely walled garden. We ordered our coffee/cake/scones, and were quickly served by happy/friendly staff. I could not fault anything that we had and will certainly be paying another visit when in the area.

Taking a trip down memory lane, reliving a regular journey I’d make (1984-1986) to Barnstaple along the old A361 before the link road was open, whilst heading for a little holiday in North Devon. We were both so glad we stopped off here for lunch. The food was lovely, as was the interior and the very pleasant staff. Well worth a detour from your journey and definitely a refreshing destination if visiting Bampton. View menu

Had to find a room last minute for a wedding I was attending near by . Called on the Friday night to boom for the Saturday . Katherine was really helpful and welcoming , taking any stress out of the the last minute scrabble for accommodation. Arrived to a warm welcome and a beautifully comfortable, well decorated room with a view over the garden. Breakfast on Sunday was incredibly good . Great place to stay would highly recommend.

We cannot recommend this lovely BnB highly enough. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious yet homely and fitted with everything we needed. Our towels were replaced and tea and coffee were replenished everyday. There is a beautiful garden out back where we enjoyed a cream tea that awaited us on arrival. Breakfast was exceptional. Our hosts were welcoming and very accommodating to our plans. Bampton is a lovely little village and a great location for exploring Devon. Parking was easy with the car park opposite with an honesty box. We would love to visit again.
